This is now my third lock of this kind I have purchased. I was constantly replacing the batteries on my old digital locks and finally found these. I am pleased that they never fail and are super easy to install.

I really like this thing. Be warned though, my cat can open it!!!! Also, the metal cubes you use to change the combination. 2 of mine were wrong. I was going to take a pic but forgot. The brass colored ones are for the numbers you want your code to be. I had 2 brass ones that were the wrong shape and they didn't work. So I could only do a 4 digit code

Swapped out existing deadbolt with very little trouble. The only snag was the deadbolt body was slightly longer than the old one. A few seconds use of a battery drill and a 3/4" paddle bit fixed that issue. The remainder of the install was easy-peasy.

Well, still the air fryer I got is my best purchase in 2021 but this door knob is absolutely the second best purchase in 2021.We used to have a regular door knob with a tiny turn switch (I don’t know what it is called but it will lock the door when you turn it then close the door.) on the garage door facing to the backyard. My husband likes to turn the switch on whenever he passes through the door and it sometime locked me out while I was working in the yard. After numerous times I asked him to check before he turns the little switch, I got annoyed enough and decided to saw off the bar inside the knob so even if he turns the switch, it doesn’t lock the door. It was such a satisfaction but it decreased the home security.This door knob solved everything. I can unlock the door without having a key with me all the time and my easily-forget-about-this-door husband doesn’t need to remember to replace any batteries. This knob might have saved our marriage LOL.

There are three MAJOR dealbreakers, I'll put the worst first:1. The coded numbers press in much differently than the uncoded numbers, so the lock code is SUPER easy to decipher based off of feel. It would take two seconds for someone to break in once they realize the code numbers click in differently.2. To make this worse, any variation of the code works. If your code is 2307, any variation of this numbers will also work. For ex. 7203, 0237, etc. This makes #1 even worse, because once you realize that the coded numbers click in differently, you don't even have to have the correct pattern of numbers to get in.3. The piece that goes inside the door to connect the two knobs was also too long for my door, even on the shortest setting. We had to cute a bigger hole.4. There's no door knob on the other side?We're returning due to the poor function. If security is your concern, I don't think this is it.EDIT: To make things worse, I've now received 13+ emails (literally) to my personal email address asking me to remove my review. I don't mind removing reviews for items that can be remedied, but selling a door lock that can decoded in 30 seconds is just flat out dangerous.

Great idea worth 5 stars. Really wanted to love it but Minus two stars for two reasons. Also not the best customer service (emailed them and never heard back, called and no one answered) but not going to remove a star for that.Con #1: after a rainy week, the handle and chrome plate is already rusting in spots. I sent them photos but no one replied. Not a ding for the customer service but def a star loss for not being weather proof.Con #2: the functionality is NOT intuitive. If you open the door from the outside, then go inside and LOCK the door, the door can still be OPENED from the outside. You have to actually open the door from the outside, then lock it, THEN go inside and open and lock it again so the door locks from the outside.This was a huge issue as I had solicitors open my door and walk in twice and I couldn’t figure out how they opened it from the outside. User beware.

No need to worry about batteries just need to know the numbers and it is good to go

As an AirBnB host, I need a closet for cleaning supplies which doesn't need batteries. This one does the job perfectly.

Returned it as it was too big and heavy for what I needed it for so returned it but it does look and feel sturdy

I did not want a battery powered version so there are few choices but this had good reviews and similar products are 150.00-250.00 so took a chance. There is a QR code that brings you to an install video that you must watch other wise you will never figure it out. Do not attempt if you are not a "handy" person. I was replacing an old handle so all my holes were ready and fit this product perfectly! otherwise it may take 2-3 times longer. placed the tumblers for the code I wanted and worked first try! plus comes with 3 sturdy keys. Nice simple look and seems very well built/sturdy. Love it so far!

Product came fully packaged, easy instrutions, easy to program the code and to instal. Had some difficulty with the locking mechanism, called company & left message. Got a quick call back and the company sent me a new one that came a few days later, no questions asked. Very couteous and understanding, easy to deal with. Fully recommended!

Built good and heavy for it's price range. Functions just fine. Looks nice.
