Yes, this one is hollow and my dogs eventually destroyed it

these are the only size. perhaps the Hurley or Tizzi style might be of benefit. these come in smaller sizes.

Can it be returned if dog chews through it?

I don't know if they give refunds for that, but this particular toy was destroyed by my dogs but several of their other toys have been indestructible

Does the tug of war stick float?

Good question! I think it does, but we haven't tested it out. But given that it's made in Montana where there are tons of rivers and such - I bet it does.
