MOOMOO Premium Magic Cleaning Eraser Sponge Melamine Foam High Quality(40 Pack)

I have been buying  Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Extra Durable Scrubber & Cleaning Sponge 4ct.  for years and I run through them so quickly. When I ran across  MOOMOO Magic Cleaning Eraser Sponge Melamine - 40 Pack  and did the cost comparison, I knew I had to give them a try. I'd be krazy not to!(I saved myself some typing and abbrev. Magic Erasers to ME and MOOMOO sponges to MM)Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. Do they have the same cleaning power as the ME sponges? Not exactly, but they do get the job done. I did some cleaning comparisons around my house so that I could give a fair review and here's how they stacked up:Overall Durability: 4 Stars - just like the Magic Erasers, the sponges start to fall apart and rip if you really press down hard to clean or if you use a sponge for any length of time. For whatever reason, these things just don't hold together. But I'm not dinging them too bad for that since I got so many of them for so cheap.Overall Cleaning Power: 4 Stars - I subtracted one star because I found myself spending more time cleaning with the MM sponges vs the ME. An example would be my silicone baking mats. I am an avid baker and cooker so I dirty a LOT of mats and about half of them have olive oil or avocado oil on them. I use the magic erasers to cut thru the oil before washing with my dish wand. I had to wash the mats twice as long with the MM sponges to cut thru the oil. Also, in the bathtub, I found myself going back over the same spots to remove stubborn soap scum, however, when I used the ME, it only took a few swipes. When using the MM sponges on simple everyday cleaning, they rocked!Overall Value: 5 Stars - You get so much more for your money when you buy MM sponges vs the ME sponges. First, both brands end up ripping and falling apart and unless you are using them on a very light cleanup, you are only going to get one use out of them. So you are basically spending $0.99 to $1.75 per sponge when you buy the ME sponges. That is freaking krazy! I've started cutting my MM (and ME) sponges in half to get more for my money. I rarely need a sponge that big and I've found that the smaller I make the sponge, the less likely it is to rip on me. Just a tip!Will I buy MM sponges again when I run out? You betcha! I am very happy with my purchase and even more happy with the customer service. They arrived quickly and came with a little note from the company. It's the small things like that that make me a customer for life.UPDATED REVIEW - 11/01/2017As you can see, a package of 40 sponges lasted over 6 months and I use these every single day to wipe down our bathroom sink. I make my own toothpaste which contains activated charcoal so I'm making quite a mess every morning and evening. I also use them daily to clean up in the kitchen plus other household cleaning chores. As other customers have reported, they do tend to fall apart pretty easy but I've found that if you cut them in half, they tend to hold together longer.Because I sometimes need a more durable sponge to clean things like the stovetop grates, I am going to purchase their "extra" cleaning power version to see if those hold up better. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and like I mentioned earlier, if you love the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers I think you'll love these!

We all know how those magic cleaning eraser sponges clean just about anything.We all know how expensive they can get.We all know how often we go to grab one and find that your spouse our child has used the last one.We all know we should keep more on hand but the price just holds us back from buying them in bulk.Well problem solved. These work just like the name brand. Well almost. I do feel a bit more grit in my hand after using. But the sponge does not break apart or leave grit behind anymore then the brand name does.And with spring right around the corner (oh PLEASE let spring be around the corner) our house will go on full force spring clean up. After a LONG winter we will be busy cleaning everything that is outside. The patio chairs and tables. The porch railing. The birdbath. I love that all I need to use these magic sponges is a bucket of water or a garden hose. Nothing else to drag around with me. And they clean every surface from painted to plastic. And now for the first time I will NEVER run out of them.So if you are like me when the time or mood hits and you are ready to clean you do not want to reach in the box and find it empty. (Really why can't my family throw out an empty box?)You don't want to drive to the store to get more magic sponges. Drive home and then get started. NO... You want to grab one and get to it.If this is you then you need to buy these in bulk. You will be glad you did. I am.Happy cleaning.P.S. spring please hurry up and get here. please.......

I have had previous experience with the excellent cleaning power of these sponges, but have an additional story to tell. During Hurricane Irma my husband and I remained in our house. During the course of the long and frightening evening, without power of course, the bedroom and kitchen began flooding. After a despairing battle against the rising tide using towels, it struck me that I had in my possession an unused pack of 40 Magic Erasers. We took 20 each and a couple of buckets, and with the help of these home-saving little miracles, we managed to keep pace with the water. So now I can attest to their amazing absorbency as well. After our intensive and exhausting 4 1/2 hour battle sopping, mopping and wringing, not only did we save our house, but only 2 of the sponges had torn in half. Now all 40 Magic Erasers are dried out and ready to resume war with on dirt and grime. The first thing I did on the eighth day once we had electricity was order another 20, for emergency purposes. We and our wood floors love and thank you.

Lots of these bargain buys on Amazon for the magic erasers are garbage quality versions. These, however, seem to be just as sturdy as the Mr.Clean namebrand ones. Been using them for a couple years now and I highly recommend them!Just remember folks: the magic erasers are made of melamine, which is composed of very fine, sharp (strong) particles that basically "sand" the surface you are cleaning (VERY gently, so no damage). Because of the way these work, they are NOT suitable to use in bathtubs, toilets, sinks, or other places that involve water going down a drain. These particles are horrible for the environment, so these erasers are best when used on a surface that can be wiped over to remove excess. If you do use them in your bathroom or other water-using areas, be mindful and simply wipe up with a damp towel. No sense in destroying the oceans for a clean bathtub.

I really like this product. Works as well as the more expensive brand. They do not crumble sometimes one will break in half but I have that happen with the more expensive brand I just keep using the smaller piece. These are actually thicker than other brands but it turns out I like that. Clean great, use on my countertops, use to remove marks I get on a door or wall and other miscellaneous uses. I love these things and like having them on hand. They are definitely a part of my cleaning tools that I use.
