what is the difference between them as they all work with 19-26 gauge wire?

If you look at the second photo, containing the chart, you will see that the first 2 (the UY & the UY2) are two poles, meaning two wires each. You can connect two wires to the same connector splicing them together. The UY accepts 21 to 26 gauge, with a maximum outer diameter of 1.52 mm. This refers to the size of the insulation on The Wire. Note that the UY2 takes a 19 to 26 gauge wire with a maximum diameter of 2.08 mm allowing for heavier insulation.

The second two, the UR and UR2 are three poles each. This means that you can connect three wires into the same connector. You will also notice the difference in MAX OD, (Maximum outer diameter). Even though they both take 19 to 26 gauge wire, the UR2 accepts wire with a heavier/thicker insulation size.

The UG connector is a different style. Meant to add a second wire onto an existing wire without cutting the first. In a configuration that while technically is a "T" connector, it is may be more accurate to describe it as a lower case "h".

The naming system is from 3M, Scotchlok connectors (these are generic reproductions of the scotchlok), and doing a search for how to use a scotchlok UG will show you its purpose.

does it come with a storage box ?

I guess you could call it a "storage box" if you have a  sense of humor. It came in a cardboard box about 5 inches wide by 8 inches long and 1 inch high with all the pieces crammed into it. With that said, it is a wonderful little tool that has worked very well splicing wires and saving much time. I would highly recommend this tool and all the little crimps that come with it but you will probably need to scrounge up a better storage box. I hope this helps, good luck.
