What's the aftertaste like? Is it similar to other sweetners? I can't stand the aftertaste of stevia or any other sweetners.

Stevia has a stronger aftertaste than monk fruit. But monk fruit has its unique fruity taste as well, like caramel sugar, or licorice. Some like and some hate, pure personal preference.

The package says mog v 7% so what is mog v and what exactly is the other 93%.

mog v is simply the "sweetness" level or factor of the finished product. 7% is a relatively low number, when some 100% "pure" monk fruit extracts should have a minimum of 25% mog v. to 50% mog v. "Pure powdered sweetener" means nothing since there is no breakdown as to the ingredients of the 93% remainder.

It is made in China where the monk fruit plant can grow.

Why does this taste so different from white monk fruit powder? My ice cream, coffee and hot chocolate is suffering from this...

This one is pure monk fruit sweetener with 7% mogroside V. It has a fruity taste due to being extracted directly from fresh monk fruit. Therefore it is quite different from the sugar flavored white monk fruit 1:1 sugar substitute, a blend of monk fruit extract and erythritol.
