I recently purchased a pair of Vessi shoes, and contrary to what you might expect given they are waterproof, most styles are not machine washable, including the style I purchased. I got them in bright white, and quickly figured out how easily they get dirty. This is where Grandma’s Sneaker Cleaner comes to the rescue! I just spray the stains generously, gently work it in with a toothbrush, rinse off, and they’re as good as new. The only downside is that like a lot of cleaners, quick treatment is necessary for best results. I also tried using this on my daughters shoes which had stains that were several months old, and even with using a generous amount of the cleaner, most of the stains didn’t come out.

Worked extremely well on one pair of white sneakers, didn’t do much on another pair. Not sure why since it was rubber on both? But I’m super happy with how the one pair came out - I’d tried another cleaner with zero success! (I ignored the instructions to remove the laces so ignore those.) The bottle also says two spritzes will do but I used a lot more and a good scrubbing brush.

used on my daily white tennis shoes. was hoping for good results as the reviews were good. not the case for me. it does say a little goes a long way but i did end up fully saturating mine and did a good scrub on them. barely noticed a difference while cleaning.. let them dry overnight hoping they would look better the next day- nope. doesn’t look like i cleaned them at all.

I use it every so often to clean my white shoes. I will always go back to this product. My shoes come out looking almost new!

I used this on my Hoka sneakers - mesh with hard rubber around the bottom. One word. USELESS! It most certainly didn't get ANY stain out and very little brightening at all. I tried using the toothbrush as suggested. Then when things stayed the same, I did try a larger type of brush. Rinsed, waited a while (in the sun no less) and same result. What I did do then, was clean my car mat. Came out decent. :) The scent is pleasant, so I will be using on the mats. ONLY.

I recently learned from Brooks website that you should never machine wash or dry your sneakers. I used to always toss mine in the wash, but since these are my favorite sneakers, I decided to follow their advice. After some research, I found Grandma’s Secret Sneaker Cleaner and gave it a try. I also picked up a soft and a hard bristle brush. To test it out, I cleaned one sneaker and left the other as-is for comparison. I removed the soles and laces and hand-washed those separately. Then I used the soft bristle brush on the upper and the hard bristle brush on the bottom to really work out the dirt. I sprayed the shoes with Grandma’s Secret Sneaker Cleaner (definitely more than just a couple sprays!) and then rinsed thoroughly. The results speak for themselves: my beige sneakers look fresh again, and I’m impressed with how well the cleaner worked.

Not sure it did much, it didn't hurt anything but I did have some stains on my shoe that didn't come off. It cleaned the soles of my shoes fairly well. But nothing miraculous. I was somewhat disappointed that this didn't do a better job and will be searching for a better cleaner. I used to have this great foam cleaner that I purchased from the shoe store itself, I'm sure many of you know what I'm talking about. When I started looking I was hoping to find that again, but nothing good seems to last anymore. I used it on my purse, I can't say that I saw much of a difference, and to be honest I'm not sure I would buy this again as it didn't perform as I'd hoped. You do have to use quite a few sprays to actually get this cleaner going.
