Good and works well

This product arrived speedily and well packaged. Feels quality to the touch and solidily built. I purchased this to power a photography stobe flash that draws a maximum of 180 Watts for 3 seconds per flash, and then drops to 3 Watts in standby. Unfortunately after about 5 minutes the on/off switch stopped working, continually staying on. Whilst this was annoying, I could still use the unit by simply disconecting the 12v power source. After a few minutes having the strobe flash unit connected, I noticed a humming sound coming out of the flash unit, and a electric burning smell. I opened the flash unit to investigate, And a ceramic resister was over heating. Hoping this wouldnt be detrimental, I persevered, but only to the detriment of the flash unit, as the dreaded electric smoke came off the resister and now the flash had illumintaed its last photo. Unfortunately I cannot return this inverter as I removed the cigarette lighter plug in replacemnt of battery clips. Now im left with a dud inverter and a dead flash- an expensive lesson learnt. Update- their customer care contacted me and replaced the unit with a working one, no questions asked- brilliant service!

I bought this to power the gear I use for busking (a small guitar amp, pedals and looper). Unfortunately it generates too much electrical interference for this purpose - causing a lot of mains hum on the audio. The good news is that Bestek also make a "pure sine wave" version of this which costs only a little more and does the job perfectly. In conclusion, this is well made, incredibly compact, virtually silent (the small fan is quiet) and works really well - but I would not recommend it for powering audio equipment - hence one star deducted.

Bought this to use as emergency backup for my fish tank filter in case of a powercut, replacing a noisy and unreliable petrol generator. Seems to be very good quality, very quiet, and although I haven't tried plugging a larger load into it, it certainly runs my filter without any problems. Unlike the generator I can use it for as long as I like at any time, even at night, without having to worry about disturbing the neighbours, and also no need to worry about fuel (as the generator was used so infrequently the fuel would end up going stale in the tank, ultimately causing problems with the carburetor and fuel line). Also much easier, just plug in and go. Excellent product, perfect for emergency backup, camping, road trips etc. Highly recommended.

My employer has started conducting all its conference calls via Lync and Webex so more than ever I need my business laptop battery topped up when I'm on the road. The unit is surprisingly well built and feels extremely solid for the price. Small enough to tuck away in glove box or door pocket when not in use. It charges my HP 15 inch quad core laptop perfectly. The inverter's fan noise is acceptable when the car engine is off and not noticeable when the car's engine is running. My Volvo has the luxury of a 12 volt socket in the boot too which means I can also charge the laptop out of sight for my next meeting. Fingers crossed this gives me years of problem-free use. Have recommended this device to all my sales team colleagues. I do agree with some other reviewers that the cable could do with being 3-6 inches longer.

After having issues finding a car charger with a specific adapter for my Lenovo Thinkpad (see previous review). I changed tact & looked for a unit which could just provide me with a standard 3 pin plug socket. This item is great, strong, self cooling with a super little internal fan & an independent on off switch for the unit. It also has USB ports as well as the main plug point & does not lag or struggle if you are using all charge points. I'm in charging heaven now & can probably George Forman my Panini's while going 70mph on the M4 (joke - not advised, unless you have cruise control then fill your boots) 😂

Beware! This is not a pure sine wave inverter as advertised in the product details. The leaflet that accompanies this 300W Bestek inverter states that it is a modified sine wave. As such, it would not work with my small (68W) Panasonic TV. Item returned and a different brand ordered which also claims to be a pure sine wave inverter 🤞. Make sure anything you order has FREE RETURNS.

As expected

Un produit excellent. Tres petit, fort, et compact. Moins cher et valeur tres bonne. J'ai installe dans mon camping car et j'ai connecte avec un interrupteur au batteries, et j'ai installe une prise de courant 220v en interieur, pour le TV, le decodeur satellite, l'ordinateur portable, et les chargeurs des mobiles et d'appareil-photo. C'est marche parfaitement. 220v energie instantanement!! Recommande!!

Die Ausgangsspannung ist abhängig von der eingangsspannung (210Vac bei 10Vdc bzw 180 Vac bei 12Vcd in) das macht den Inverter unbenutzbar für die meisten geräte

Funciona de maravilla y no pesa nada, un acierto total. Lo usábamos para hinchar un colchón de camping e iba de maravilla. Lo recomiendo.
