The costume is as pretty as the picture, well-made and appears sturdy enough to hold up for a while. As stated you get the dress and pinafore (apron) not the tights and shoes or headband. I bought the size 8-10 after reading other reviews and while it is long enough for my 10 yr old daughter (who is of average size, neither the biggest or smallest in her class) she cannot do the dress up in the back and will need to wear a t-shirt under it. Other reviews suggested it runs quite big. I can't remember if a larger size was offered but that is the one I should have bought. However as it is only for Halloween and dress up it does not matter and still looks very pretty on. I definitely recommend it, just watch the size. If your daughter (or son) was particularly slender it would be just right.

I was excited about this costume--it looked well made, and many of the reviews mentioned that it was a satin material (the dress part). It is not-- the blue part is a cheapy nylon/polyester looking material that really cheapened the look. Also, it has a tie closure at the neckline which is awkward, and then just two small strips of velcro to close up the dress back. But-- it fits my daughter well, and she loves it. And it is better quality than many costumes. She is almost 8, average build, and around 65 lbs. The small fits her well, and is tea-length on her. The apron straps are a little too long, so I'll need to do some altering there. All in all, I'm pleased with the purchase, and only a tad disappointed. :)

My daughter is a very tall 7 year old and finding a costume to fit her is nearly impossible! All the children's costumes are too small (or very expensive). All the adult costumes are inappropriate. (Which I find extremely annoying, not *everyone* wants to be 'sexy'-but that's another post). This was perfect. We were going to the "Rock you Disneyside" 24 hour party and we both could wear costumes. She had grown out of all hers and I had found the perfect one for me. So, when I found this, I was very excited for her. I purchased it and got it two hours before we left (phew!!!). We tried it on there and it fit perfect. My only suggestion is that they need another velcro on it because it gapes. Luckily, a kind guest in line had a safety pin and we were good to go! More than once, kids yelled "Alice" and pointed to her at Disneyland, which made her day! (We, of course, were very clear that we were not Disney cast members). Disney Cast members all called her Alice all day long. When we met the "real" Alice at one point at Disney, I was impressed at how alike they looked and realized why people thought my daughter was Alice. Thank you, California Costumes, for helping make our Disney trip special!

This turned out much better than expected for the price. The material isn't as see-through as it appeared it could be in the photos, which is great for a child's costume. I see others complaining about the fit accuracy, but it fit perfectly using the chart in the photos section. So A+ for that. My daughter loves it. For the price... it can't be beat. Definitely would recommend.

When ordering this I was worried about sizing and quality. When it arrived my worries went away quickly. This outfit is so cute and just right. I bought it a size up than what my daughter wears and she has more than enough room. The apron is a little on the bigger side but we make due tying it up in the back.

The costume was great for my daughter's play. It looked adorable. That said, it does run big. My daughter normally wears a 6x and the extra small fit her great (with room to spare). She is average height for her age and it was well below her knees (which I liked). I had to add 2 extra pieces of velcro on the back to keep it closed and the apron was huge and ill-fitting so I had to shorten the straps. These alterations took about 20 minutes and then the costume was great. As it came, it was sloppy looking and didn't hang right. If you are willing to spend a few minutes, this costume is great and cheaper than most I could find.

I ordered the large for my 5'1", 95 lb. daughter. She looks darling. The dress hits her just below the knee and is fitted, but not tight. Problems: What they are calling a lace petticoat is just the lace trim that you see...no petticoat to help poof out the skirt or line the dress, which is sheer and puckers open at the back with one velcro closure and a tie. It IS just a costume, but they shouldn't have called it a petticoat. She will have to wear something underneath the costume--another purchase (sigh). The shoulder straps of the apron are out of proportion to the rest of the apron. If you want the apron to tuck under the collar like the picture, you would have to tuck or trim the apron straps several inches, in my estimation.

Really fast shipping! I love it!!! I am small for my age (17) usually fitting a children's size 11 and 12 and I was worried about the sizing for this costume after reading other reviews. I ordered a medium (8-10) and I would say it is a one or two sizes larger than stated. The dress does fits me perfectly and the quality is great for what you pay! The apron is quite large and will need to be pinned but overall I am really happy with this costume!

Great material, well made, good color, true to size and overall a great costume. My daughter loved it ♡

Mi hija es más pequeña y delgada que lo habitual a su edad (12 años) así que compre talla 10 y le quedó perfecto. La tela es delgadita pero linda. Tuve que ajustarle un poco los tirantes del mandil pero muy bien en general.

Looks just like Alice should. I removed the ties at the top and put in more Velcro strips. Would’ve preferred zipper.

Seguí las sugerencias de las reseñas sobre las talla. Viene muuuy grande pero el pequeño le quedó perfecto a mi hija de 10 años. El disfraz es igual al que viene en la imagen.
