Great Disinfectant- effective for Home & Lab!
I use these wipes for both my home and in a laboratory setting. We rotate three different disinfectants through our lab setting to control microbial and fungal contamination, performing a weekly cleaning with one cleaner per week. The disinfectants we use are these Seventh Gen Disinfecting Wipes, 70% ethanol solution, and 10% bleach solution (again, NOT using these at the same time). I personally have a lot of issues with the fumes from ethanol and bleach, so much so that I do not help clean when we use them in the lab, and in my home I do not hang around when the husband wants to use disinfectants with bleach or bleach alternative in them (although it is fabulous for certain things), and ethanol is not a common household disinfectant, especially at the 70% effective concentration. I am a fan of the smell of these wipes (they smell fresh and clean to me, not chemical-like), my kids and most of my coworkers also like the smell of them, but they do smell strongly and not everyone will appreciate the smell. As with anything, there are people that will find they have sensitivities to certain products, so if you find or already know that you have sensitive skin, wear some gloves- I doubt you will find a similarly effective DISINFECTANT that doesn't also bother you. If you are cleaning a food surface, it won't hurt to rinse with water (like with any other disinfectant), but in my opinion it isn't as necessary with this product as with some of the others. Obviously don't ingest the wipes or liquid (or really go ahead if you would like to go for the Darwin award). If you are worried about the product having an SDS (formerly known as MSDS), relax- everything has an SDS- most people just aren't aware of it (because who knew water also has an SDS?!). The wipes have a lot of "juice" so they give a great kill time on surfaces and one wipe goes a long way. The bottom line is that this is a very effective natural disinfectant that I prefer for my home over some of the harsher chemical disinfectants, so if you want a DISINFECTANT and not just a topical clean (if you don't understand that, google the difference between cleaner, disinfectant, and sanitizer to determine your end goal, and then do your research on what products you will need to alternate to achieve your desired result, as no product will kill everything), this is a great choice!

The best green cleaner I've used
I love these wipes. We were looking for a greener cleaner to use around our baby and these are the best. I think they work better than Lysol or Clorox wipes, and the best part is that you do not have to wipe them down with water afterwards. They clean up messes very easy, even dried on food that lurks in places in her high chair that I didn't think were possible. They have a nice soft feel to them and are wet enough that they don't dry out immediately when using. I can usually get through a whole wipedown of the highchair, plus portions of our table without having to use another one. As most have commented, the smell is slightly odd. I think it smells like dried oregano. My husband and child do not seem to mind. I'll continue to use these over anything else- at least the smell is not a chemical one.

Cleans well and great smell!
I love having a disinfecting wipe that comes from a natural source and isn't loaded with chemicals that are harmful to my family. Being in restaurant management and the father of two little ones, the importance of a clean environment is always something I pay a great deal of attention to. This is especially true about the kitchen and the bathroom. I love that these wipes are easy to get out of the container, retain their moisture very well, and can be used on food contact surfaces like my cutting boards. They do leave a hefty amount of streaks on shiny surfaces and it does not cut through grease well but both were to be expected of a non-harsh cleaner. I also love the smell of the "lemongrass citrus". However, I have worked around lemongrass and the scent is basically all thyme. I would recommend this product to anyone who desires a clean environment for their family while reducing the amount of toxic chemicals in the house. Don't forget to recycle the bottle!

I Rely On These Alot
After trying numerous wipes - both "natural" and highly chemical, I settled on this for daily use. The smell takes a bit of getting used to, but is not bad and it is thankfully not heavily perfumed with chemical phthalates like most of the other wipes are. A big advantage to these is that they work well on a variety of plastics and metal products, and don;t seem to ever cause any mar to the finish. I have even used them to wipe clothes, after noticing stains or food spilled on them. Like any other wipe, make sure to wash your hands after using them, especially if you are going to touch your eyes. It is not a good feeling to touch your eyes after these! You won't go blind but you will need to wipe your eyes because they will tear up. Some limitations to these are: 1) They will not clean really dirty items or stains as good as a Clorox wipe. For example, Seventh Generation wipes are great for wiping a generally clean toilet bowl rim or sink, but if you have stains on anything porcelain, a Clorox Wipe will do a better job. 2) Like the Lysol or Clorox or most other wipes, as you get about halfway through the wipes in the cannister, they become very wet. If that is the case, I recommend just wringing the wet wipe out a bit and releasing some of the liquid before using it. Overall, I like these and have these on hand all the time now. I have come to rely on them for daily cleaning. I have even taken 2 at a time and attached them to my Swiffer Sweeper, and have used them as a wet mop. It works o.k., and is cheaper than buying the Swiffer wet mop refills, although the Seventh Generation wipes don't pick up quite as much dust and dirt.

Convenient
I have always loved the Seventh Generation disinfecting spray. I usually use that spray with a cloth or spray directly on the surface and allow to dry. I tried for so long to avoid going back to using disinfecting wipes . . . I felt like it was more expensive and was just another extra product to clutter up the cabinets. However, now that we have a very active (and messy) toddler, I've totally jumped back on the disinfecting wipe wagon! These are thick wipes with plenty of solution on them. One wipe is plenty to do a quick wipe of the bathroom counter (You have to remember to make sure the surface is wet with the solution and then let it air dry to disinfect). I keep a container of them in the kitchen, laundry room, and every bathroom! They make disinfecting and quick clean ups convenient and I appreciate the fact that the disinfecting agent is plant derived. They do have a distinctive smell, but it isn't unpleasant and when the surface is dry, the scent disappears!

Best Price I've Found On These Wonderful Disinfecting Wipes
We dearly love these wipes and have, over the past few years, bought hundreds of canisters of them (and hundreds of bottles of the spray) for use in our homes, businesses and animal rescue facilities. We used to purchase them in bulk from another online provider, but they quit carrying them. I went back to their site to order a few dozen canisters and, poof, they had disappeared. I searched and found that Amazon had the wipes at the same price, so I was thrilled. Further, the Amazon ones are shrinkwrapped, whereas the other seller used to put these adhesive strips over the tops of the canisters to keep them closed in shipping. Removing these strips was a real PITA, so we were thrilled to see Amazon's were shrinkwrapped. No more cut fingers or ripped labels. I highly recommend this Seventh Generation product, which I also want to note is wonderful at quick stain-removal tasks (food on your clothes, carpet or car's seats or carpeting). They have just enough surfactant (soap) to do the job. UPDATE 3-2-20: Seventh Generation has apparently "updated" this product, which now has an orange lid and different label artwork. More importantly, though, I believe they have changed the formula to alter the former scent, which I dearly loved (I found it soothing), but which many people did not. Unfortunately, we have found that since the reformulation, these wipes now turn our fingers and fingernails orange...and it lasts for days! (Sure, we should wear disposable exam gloves while using them, but this isn't always practical.) I don't object to the new scent, but actually preferred the old one. And, as someone who's been involved in the graphics business since the '80s, I think they could have done a lot better on their label design. Further, just before updating this review, I visited the Seventh Generation site and noticed that they are still showing the former packaging (green lid and former label). Odd.

Great product!! The smell its not that bad! Satisfied customer!
If you are lucky enough to have the option to grab these wipes go for it!!! I’m not an “all natural” “holistic” type of person, but since it’s incredibly HARD to find my other name brand products, I bought these. And I’m satisfied. Yes these wipes have a distinctive smell. I’m not going to paint a pretty picture, some people hate the smell, some love the smell.... I (like others) tolerate the smell. It’s not like it will make you puke, it’s just different. With the way things are around the world, it is important to keep your house clean and disinfected, so these babies do the job. Also based on my calculation they are not price gouging!!! It is wrong/ridiculous/malicious how some vendors are selling essential products for 5x it’s worth. My experience with the delivery was awesome, They were packaged well and arrived To my front door in tact. Let’s stay safe and continue to pray/send -good vibes for health to all. Happy shopping!!

Buy one for every room!
Hands down the best wipes. We keep one package in each room, one in each car and one in the garage to wipe down shoes and hands when we arrive home. No residue on surfaces, don't damage paint or anything else, and they leave your hands feeling clean without any stickiness! The scent is pleasant and lacks the sharp smell of harsher ones, but leaves everything smelling fresh & clean. Get a box and put one tub everywhere.
