Works well, sturdy, secure.
This is one of those products, the successful application of which will depend in large degree on the mechanical aptitude of the installer. Note that there is an earlier version, with metal pipe clamp that attaches with bolts, and a later improved version that attaches with 2 SS hose clamps, this review is on the 2nd version shown in my pic. First the cons: The bracket that mounts to the pipe with SS hose clamps, was slightly bent in shipment I guess. The part of the bracket that mounts to the actuator, is secured with two 5mm hex drive 6mm screws. One side of the bracket has two 6mm rivet nuts and the holes on the other side did not align (the holes are fairly tight tolerance so wiggling wouldn't work. I had to clamp one side of the bracket in a vice and use an adjustable wrench to slightly torque the bracket to bring the holes into alignment. Not a big deal if you have the tools handy, but maybe a good idea to package better (the box was not damaged). I intended to measure the force needed to operate the valve as well as the force the actuator put out (using a digital weigh scale at right angles) - but in the end I just slapped it together to see if I'd get smoke of action . . . action it is! In the picture, the actuator is shown parallel to the wall, I had to cut a hole in the wall for clearance, figuring this would be easier than unsweating the valve in a maze of plumbing between well tank and radon remediation system. The actuator is rigid and does not appear to bend or flex as it moves the valve. On opening, actuator stops about 1/4" (measured at end of handle) before full travel of handle. The valve appears to be fully open in terms of flow volume, and pushing against handle moves it the last little bit. In the more important closing direction, it takes the handle fully to the stop, so that's good. Altogether a good value I think.

Buyer Beware!
I first purchased an Owfeel WIFI & Bluetooth Smart Water Valve in April 2021. I was very pleased with the product, it performed well, and it lasted, albeit with limited use, for (4) years until it failed. I purchased another Owfeel WIFI & Bluetooth Smart Water Valve in July 2023 to use on another valve. The Owfeel WIFI & Bluetooth Smart Water Valve would not completely close the valve, no matter how many times I tried to adjust its position relative to the valve's center line. I REACHED OUT TO SELLER REGARDING MY ISSUE AND RECEIVED NO RESPONSE. Unfortunately, the 30 days return window had closed. Recently, I purchased another Owfeel WIFI & Bluetooth Smart Water Valve to replace my first failed valve and, like my second purchase, the valve would not completely close. I did not attempt to reach out to the seller given my previous experience with their customer service and because my return window was rapidly closing. I will return the third valve to Amazon for credit. Thank you Amazon for your Return Policy! To paraphrase Albert Einstien's advice, insanity is to attempt the same thing repeatedly and expect different results… Therefore, I will not be ordering another Owfeel WIFI & Bluetooth Smart Water Valve. It’s my opinion, from my user experience, that the Owfeel WIFI & Bluetooth Smart Water Valve is not reliable and of poor quality.

Wifi valve works well but needs to be installed correctly to properly work.
Wifi water valve works as described there are 2 items you must know to have it work properly, the provided clamps in my case we're to large this the valve didn't fit tightly around the water line it must not move at all. I had to buy smaller clamps from Lowes. The second item is that the part that connects to the valve handle must be positioned towards the end of the handle otherwise it wont close properly and it will keep attempting to close also it may struggle so positioning is very important. If those 2 conditions are met there shouldn't be any issues.

Works, even in tight spaces without exact alignment!
I was a little hesitant at first that this unit wouldn't work on my setup. My water valve is inside the wall very flush to the interior side of the exterior stucco of the house, and therefore the unit does not exactly fit flush over the top of the water valve. It's offset maybe 10-15 degrees, and therefore I didn't tighten the bottom clamp as tightly and left just a little bit of wiggle room. I was pleasantly surprised that the smart valve still works just fine even though it's not perfectly aligned on top of the water valve. The motor travels to full open and closed in both directions without issue. The Smart Life app was easy to set up and device paired perfectly the first time. Overall, I am very pleased this thing still works despite the alignment issues. Recommended!

Works as advertised, good value for money.
Follow the directions. Install and adjusting took 15 min. Mine is mounted on copper pipe. Currently renovating and it is great that I do not have to go up and down several stairs to shut off water when I am installing pluming fixtures. Have plans to tie it in to moisture sensors so it will shut the water off if they detect a leak. The quality is good enough since it will be used infrequently after renovations. May switch to the Moen system but there is no budget for that right now. Great price for what you get for the price. If you want an inexpensive solution I recommend this.

Neat & useful for price, but I did have a cutoff that ignited on its own
I installed this unit to cut our home water off when we leave our home and I forget. So time will tell how its durability survives, but so far, so good! ,,,,, UPDATE months later: On a cold winter morning it cut off on its own, without notification. So this caused me to think and search for frozen lines, thankfully I discovered it was this cut off that activated on its own without notification. I can activate it from anywhere. It really seems to work well. Just be sure you tightened the screw rings tight as you can without stripping. I had to modify the wall surroundings slightly so I could get the bands around the line where I installed it onto the water line. I like the parts included for different install applications. I also like that the power cord is long enough for a distant power source and the power cord connects in the middle to allow ability to thread down the wall. For the money especially, this unit is awesome. I was going to have a plumbing company install their similar version of this, but it was going to cost over $600. So this one was simple enough for me to install myself and save money. Only time will tell to completely recommend.

Works well and offers peace of mind
I recently had a water heater spring a leak. I was away from home at the time, but I did get a notification from my Govee water leak sensors. It took me about 30 minutes to get home and figure out what was going on. If I had something like this to shut the water off remotely when a leak was detected, I could have reduced my water damage significantly. I bought this shut off valve with the understanding that it worked directly with IFTTT through the Smart Life app. Unfortunately, my exact model wasn't compatible through the Smart Life connection in IFTTT even though other reviews proved that theirs worked. I was able to get it working using an Alexa Skill called MkZense. Once you add the Skill to your Alexa app, it gives you 'virtual buttons' that can be used to trigger other Alexa routines. You can then connect the MkZense app to IFTTT, which exposes your Alexa 'virtual buttons'. The system works perfect now. When any of my Govee water leak sensors detect a leak, my Owfeel water valve shuts off the main water to my house within about 5 seconds. I'm happy with this solution and have a bit more peace of mind knowing that damage from future water leaks will be reduced.

Would Not Recommend, Doesn't Work for Me and No Tech Support Contact.
It won't shut off my valve. It's really difficult to get the alignment correct, even when lined up per the dismal instruction leaflet. When the valve is just about to be fully closed or open, the torque gives out and the motor is left with not enough power to finish the job. At this point the motor just keeps trying as there is also not enough torque to close the mechanical shutoff switch. So it's likely to stay on and eventually burn out. Additionally, you can see the whole product bending as it pushes the valve lever, so the product is visibly bending instead of continuing to push the shut off valve lever. The App and automation with IFTTT were great when paired with a leak detector, and it will turn on command, but that whole fact becomes useless when it can't close the valve which is the whole point of setting everything up. I can't comment on longevity and how long it works, because it outlived its usefulness at installation. There is no listed tech support contact and a google search comes up empty. Might work with another newer valve, but if I am paying a plumber anyway to replace the one I have now, I'd go with an alternative Smart Valve and have that installed at the same time. Sometimes the cheapest option is that way for a reason.

Excelente precio y funcionalidad
