Very easy to use, but don't try to go it alone
The chip injectors are easy to use, but I recommend having a partner to help hold your pet while chipping them. The needle is plenty sharp but still pretty broad in diameter and can be pretty uncomfortable especially for young or small pets. Having someone comfort and restrain the pet will make the whole experience less stressful for everyone. That said, it's incredibly easy to do the chipping at home, we chipped all five pets in a matter of ten minutes or so.
