You are what you Eat!!!
Natto is a source of vitamin K2 and is a true super food which is essential for the maintance of our bodies. A majority of people in America is deficient in this important nutrient. Bacteria produce this type of vitamin K. It is present in high quantities in your gut, but unfortunately is not absorbed from there and passes out in your stool. K2 goes straight to vessel walls, bones, and tissues other than your liver. It is present in fermented foods, particularly cheese and the Japanese food natto, which is by far the richest source of K2. Here are some great things about Natto: Excellent source of both vitamin K1 and K2 - Vitamin K1 can be found in green leafy vegetables, but few foods contain both K1 and K2. Both vitamins can help regulate blood clotting and improve heart health. And Vitamin K2 has been shown to possess significant anti-carcinogenic qualities, possibly helping to reduce the risk ofprostate cancer by up to 35%.1 Nattokinase for heart health - Natto is the only dietary source of nattokinase, an enzyme that also helps significantly with regulating blood clotting, and which has been shown to have a profound beneficial effect on protecting our bodies from heart disease and hypertension.2 Natto is a micronutrient powerhouse - In addition to vitamin K, natto contains sizeable amounts of vitamins C and B, as well as riboflavin, folate, B6, and even B12 (vegans rejoice). On top of that it has generous amounts of minerals such as calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, potassium, zinc, copper, and even iron (100g of natto contains 8.6 mg of iron). It’s also full of fiber to help you feel full on fewer calories. Probiotics - Since Natto is a fermented food, it contains a whole host of beneficial bacteria, especially Bacillus subtilis, to aid in digestion and help to maintain a healthy gut flora balance. The health benefits of vitamin K2 go far beyond blood clotting, which is done by vitamin K1, and vitamin K2 also works synergistically with a number of other nutrients, including calcium and vitamin D. Its biological role is to help move calcium into the proper areas in your body, such as your bones and teeth. If you're taking medication most likely you need this supplement because pharmaceuticals depletes your body of essential and vital nutrients such as this. Therefore, when that takes place you're wide open for opportunist infections which is the leading cause of the many illnesses we suffer today. This has help me and my family in soooo many ways in avoiding uneccssary illnesses. I highly recommend purchasing this very important nutrient. You are what you eat!!!

Nattokinase Is Legit—But You Have to Take It Right
Nattokinase Is Legit—But You Have to Take It Right I've been using nattokinase for a while now, and I can confidently say: it works—but only if you use it properly. Most people overlook how highly sensitive to stomach acid this enzyme is. If you just pop a capsule with a meal, you're wasting it. Here’s what works for me: I take nattokinase before bed, at least 3–4 hours after eating any protein. Why? Because nattokinase digests protein—and if you’ve got food in your system, it’ll just work on that instead of targeting the real issues like blood clots or plaque. To protect it from stomach acid, I also take 1.3 grams of potassium bicarbonate right before dosing. This helps neutralize the acid and give the enzyme a better chance to survive the journey. I put the nattokinase into the largest capsule size available to fit a full 2-1 gram capsules size 000—and when I take it like this, I wake up feeling noticeably better. Less grogginess and brain fog, better circulation. It’s consistent. Science backs this up too—studies show nattokinase helps dissolve fibrin, reduce arterial plaque, and clean up blood clots. It’s one of the few natural agents that really does this systemically, especially when taken on an empty stomach with no competing proteins. It's even used by dentist in Germany to fight tooth and jaw infections. Bottom line? If you're using nattokinase for heart health, circulation, or even to help with inflammation and biofilms, timing and delivery matter just as much as the dose. Take it right and nattokinase becomes a powerful tool in your health arsenal.

This atherosclerosis treatment is real
The dosage that has been tested in people is 10,800 FU/day which is 500 mg, so this is a 100 day supply. However, the rat and mouse studies which have stronger evidence were 36,000 to 114,000 FU per day (human-equivalent dose). A study showed that injecting was better. They often give 2x per day in animal studies. The half life in the blood is 8 hours. Treatment to reduce plaque is a year. My concern with a large dose is that it can cause bleeding. No one on blood thinners etc should take it. Future research may say replace blood thinners with it. A.I. is giving me a conflicting picture on safety: it says 100,000 FU/day (HED) was safe in animals but also 30,000 FU/day caused bleeding in the lungs. The medical community seems pretty sure 10,800, FU/day is safe. Taking all these things together, I'm going to try 15,000 FU twice a day for a year.

GOOD STUFF - adequate quantity - how to measure and take 100-200mg doses
First what I like They shipped this with the powder in a much smaller plain zip bag, about 2x3 inches. Those can't be reliably resealed because the powder quickly jams things up. In this case some powder got out and into the main pouch, which I dumped back into the small bag. I like the envelopes and pouches because it keeps every bit of air out - so it doesn't clump or go stale or oxidize. This is true for everything that I buy. But constantly in and out of this nice pouch - I'd say the zip lock only lasted maybe 30 times before it became detached. I'm sure the guys in charge paid quite a bit for that pouch - so they should follow up with their supplier on that issue. I routinely use metal clips to seal these self-destructing bags. The INH, Institute of National Health website has quite a bit of studies and papers on Nattokinase. I started using it more than a year before, both as pill and as Natto, but also locally transdermally. Largely this had less than great effect on my lower leg clotting and venous insufficiency. Turns out one NIH study has a baseline dosage of 100mg EVERY 4 HOURS, which is its "half-life". Not 100mg per day, like the label says. It's quite a complex situation that needs to be addressed as it leads to many complications. AS PROMISED - here is how I do it. Any decent "MILIGRAM SCALE" and a TINY SPOON will do. You might have one in a drawer. You basically cut circles in parchement paper using a 2-inch lid. You can reuse 1 circle many times. Fold it in half. Open it and set it on your scale. Switch the scale on. It will ready 0 (zero). Put the proper amount for your particular regimen. Then partly re-fold and pour it under your tongue, followed by a good rinse with whatever you're having. Then wipe and fold the paper and put it under the lid of your scale and put the scale in it's bag or sock or whatever you use. NO MESS!

Advocate for yourself, research, and if it doesn’t cause harm what do you have to lose?
Another product that has a lot of research supporting its benefits. I expect great results in combination of other circulatory herbs and exercise.

No scoop included
Does not come with a scoop. The service size is so small a normal food scale doesn’t weigh that small of amount. I would give it a higher score if it came with a scoop. Can’t cost that much to include a scoop.

Great mild flavor, and love the results I am seeing!
Frankly, I think I just about crave the taste of natto - but, I have only eaten it in its powdered form. That is simply the easiest way for me to consume it. I have ordered several things from Bulk Supplements, and always been pleased with their products. It is, unfortunately, a bit pricey, as I add a couple of teaspoons to whatever I am eating for dinner. However, I have noticed that my teeth and gums look better, my hair and my fingernails are growing really fast, and I simply feel better since I have been eating it. I have added it to dips, egg omelets, turkey and gravy, soup, tuna melt sandwiches, homemade chicken salad, pizza, etc. I simply mix it into my food and eat it. So many people say it tastes "funky", but I am used to wheat germ, nutritional yeast, garlic, and other strong flavors; frankly, I love it!

Seems good
I can confirm that this particular bulk powder smells and tastes like the stringy snot stuff from the actual natto carton products, which is a good sign as far as I’m concerned since that’s where the nattokinase is in natto, and this may indicate the product is legit. The downside is that this stuff tastes bad (like real natto) and will make your breath stink (like real natto). I’m using 1/8 teaspoon (easy to measure just get a 1/8 tsp measuring spoon, haha) before bed and in the morning, which according to my milligram scale is about 110mg x2 or about 4,000 FU (fibrinolytic units). I don't know if amazon would allow a link in a review, but look up the research paper "A clinical study on the effect of nattokinase on carotid artery atherosclerosis and hyperlipidaemia" for more info, in that study they used 6,000 FU daily just as a point of reference, at that dosage they saw excellent cardiovascular results.
