Great Tab With Awesome Sound!
I've owned an S2 Tab for some while, but it's battery life was going downhill with daily use. I also found that startup was slow and it could be slow with some apps. I wanted something better and decided to plump for an S6. So far it is showing good battery life (not as good now I've selected the charge to 85% option, but that may mean the battery will go downhill slower). The screen quality is bright and clear, startup is fast and it is significantly quicker handling apps. The one stellar thing I've found so far is the sound quality. Watching a movie, the sound is coming from all over the room - enough to make you look up to be sure it is the movie sound and not something else. Very very impressed with that - it makes for an immersive experience! Well done Samsung!

Excellent Tablet

From Tab S3 to this. Really impressed. Quick, good battery. The only let down is the stupid spen position on the back. Totally unnecessary.

Bought the high specification one with sim but it really is works with Samsung galaxy smartphone.

Lost a star for on-screen finger scan and pen
Overall very good tablet for my kid who has moved from iOS because of the better free creative apps on Android and to play Fortnite because of the row between Epic and Apple. I still find the Samsung setting items a bit too hidden. The pen holder is surprisingly secure but the pen nip is a bit too small and not very good for sketching on its side. The use of the button could be better (haven't figured out why it refused to work as a pointer). This is where the Samsung UI offering fails. The screen is great and I bought S6 for the AMOLED and offer price instead of the newer S7 with IPS screen only. But the on screen finger print detection is very bad once you have a screen protector on.

Amazing piece of kit...
Have upgraded from S3 Tab and difference is simply amazing in all areas. Love the link to my phone so can text and make entries easier. Also glad that I went for cellular version, particularly when in Europe.

Not reliable
I was expecting something better than my last Samsung experience ages ago. Unfortunately it is still quite bad. It is opening apps by itself while I just swipe it to get the app browser. Fingerprint reader can't read my fingers. Not reliable.

The Best Android Tablet
It was a costly jump from the S5e to the S6, but I did it mainly because the S pen is such a great study aid. Both tabs are great and I would recommend the S5e to most users.
