Soft Suede Short Dining Chair Cover

These are good quality, but they are looser on my chairs than I like. The difference in price for custom made is significant so I'm adjusting to it. Sigh.

I took a chance and ordered this without knowing the exact dimensions -- I thought I had pretty standard dining chairs, and the "42 inch length" requirement checked out. ....uh-uh. I tried to cover my IKEA chairs with this and this cover was HUGE! It looked very sloppy.In addition, the be advised that the fabric these covers are made of is very thin. When I think of suede, I imagine something heavy duty that can stand up to a little wear and tear -- these will not do the trick. If the fabric was at least nice I'd try to put my minimal sewing skills to use and see if I could alter them to better fit my chairs. But, it's not and so I'm returning them....just wish I didn't have to pay for the shipping and handling back to the seller.

I ordered these for my dining room chairs. I had just bought new parsons chairs and wanted to protect them from staining etc. When they arrived, the color was nice (ordered the red). I tried one on a chair....oh, dear! They have a big frilly back, not shown in the photograph, and I started laughing as they reminded me of the backside of my husband's underwear the way the hung! I think the description and photograph (they have since removed the photo) is misleading. If you like frills and that sort of thing, you might like them. I thought they were hideous! Ordered others also from Sure Fit range that have a plain back, and were cheaper than these. Here's hoping the new ones are as described!
