Would it help with Facial Neurological pain

Yes it is great for neurological pain. I have Trigeminal Neuragia and it help to ease pain

Yup, I put a few packs in the freezer. I've also tried them warm but it doesn't last very long. The pain is mostly on one side for me and it helps a little bit. Also a weird tip is to try frozen spoon handles. Hope it helps :)

Does anyone know if the band is machine washable? I've been using mine for a month following jaw surgery and it's starting to smell

I would say its machine washable, but on a low temperature wash. If you are really worried a hand wash would probably be just as affective. Hope this helps
