If you love loose tea, but hate the mess, this infuser is your perfect solution.I originally had given this a 3 star rating (review below,) but am upgrading this product to 5 stars, because of the high-quality of the replacement item I was sent. The seller apparently contracted with a new manufacturer, who is able to secure the stem firmly to the bell. The materials are high quality silicone and steel; the construction quality is top notch.Making a cup of tea is easy. Place a spoonful of loose tea in the steel bell, then cap the bell with the perforated silicone cap. Place the bell in your cup or mug, cover with boiling water, and allow to steep until your tea is as strong as you like it. Then take hold of the no-slip silicone ball at the end of the handle, remove the bell, allow it to drain for a second or two, and place the bell in its matching silicone tray.Cleaning the bell is as easy as removing the silicone cap, tapping the now-spent tea leaves into the compost bucket, and rinsing out the bell, cap, and tray. The secure stem means no messy "fishing" in your cup to remove a tea ball, and the rapid draining of the bell and the matching silicone tray eliminates drips on your table.We both love this new tea bell.~*~*~*~*~*~*original review:Purchased this as a gift for my spouse, who loves tea, and loved the all-stainless tea bell that was one of the amenities in a hotel where we stayed on the Oregon coast.The materials in this item appear to be good quality stainless and silicone rubber. The silicone bottom portion is easy to fit into the steel bell, the little "tray" keeps the table dry after the bell is removed from the cup, and the whole thing holds the tea leaves inside securely. Emptying the bell is easy, and the unit rinses clean without fuss.Unfortunately. at least with the unit I was sent, the construction is shoddy. The stem is very loose on the bell, and wobbles quite a bit. For the time being, it is working. Sadly, I expect that soon the stem will fall off, and we'll have another tea-ball-type infuser that needs to be fished out of the cup with a spoon.If it were well constructed, I'd give it 5 stars, but as it is, I'm giving it 3 stars. I will be continuing to search for a high-quality, all stainless steel tea bell.

The minute i used it, the stick detached from the infuser and i couldn't put it back together. Other than that, it was good while it lasted.I didnt have any tea leaves escaping.

It broke within about a month - the connecting joint was pretty weak and started wobbling within the first ten days or so.

It's made well. Easy to fill, easy to clean. I like the design. Just waiting to see how it holds up over time as the handle wiggles I little.

Great size for just the right amount of loose tea! Fits right into your mug & has a drain or drip pan!

I used this item for 5 days and the top broke off with no way to re attach it..... Pretty unhappy after all the great reviews on his product

Received the product with the stem detached. Shoddy workmanship. Dont buy.
