Love these pencils!
Ever had a pencil that wrote so lightly you couldn't see what you wrote? Did that pencil have an eraser that did nothing but smear your paper? I did. I wanted better pencils but was afraid to buy any at the store because I didn't know what I was going to get. I turned to Amazon to get reviews of pencils so I could make a good decision. I knew I wanted my pencil to write a darker, thicker line and I wanted the eraser to work. These are great pencils. They are just dark enough while writing and the erasers actually work. I will repurchase when necessary.

Rights like a 4 wheeled car with 3 wheels.
Solidly constructed, kind of a matte finish, smooth round #2 pencil. Writes dark with light touches and the eraser erases, marvelous. My hands are like a commercial sized claw machine, so gripping is problematic, but drawing with a pencil the width of an expo marker gets tiring. This is my daily go to writing impliment.

I love these pencils
I love these pencils. I'd forgotten how much. I was in the garage. I needed to measure some boards. I had one of these Black Warrior pencils in a drawer. I began to draw a straight line. I loved the pencil so much (I'm a teacher; I used them for years in school), I went inside and started writing a draft of an essay with it on a yellow tablet. I have three boxes. They won't last long. The pencils arrived faster than I'd been told they would. I shall order again from Best Source Office Supply. No fooling, I will.Marc Petersen

Not quite as high quality as expected
I read several articles about these black warriors. They aren't quite as good as I had thought but still the best pencil I have ever used. They write smooth and have soft lead. Works well for drawing and daily use if you have access to a sharpener.

Hands-down, favorite
I love this concert more than a person should love a pencil. The lead is hard, dark, and smooth. I use it primarily from marking my music. It sharpens cleanly, too. One of my favorite purchases on Amazon.
