Gorgeous sound!!! I have loved this windchime so much that I just had to purchase a second one so the 2 of them together is almost like having my own little orchestra outside by my patio. Woodstock chimes are the very best of the best and I know I will be getting another one......maybe not this same double one but another. I. am looking at the one that starts off with Amazing Grace. If you love the sound of windchimes, you will not be disappointed with this one!

I saw this identical chime in a Garden Center in Canada for CA$270. + tax = CA$309.00 including tax. I agonized over spending $309.00 for a wind chime so I came home, checked Amazon and found it here for $121.00 + delivery = $164.00. Thanks Amazon! I had to have it. The sound is incredibly heavenly and soothing to my troubled mind. Now I have non-stop listening pleasure. Our home is now totally ZEN. I have to say it has met all my expectations and then some. Every 'bang' creates a peaceful clear sound that resonates into an 'ooommmmm' after-sound that seems to last forever. I can hear them all day now with the fan running quietly on low speed, in its direction. The sounds make me feel like I am somewhere in Tibet on top of the mountain. The sound is just that incredible. It keeps me so much more peaceful and balanced. Worth every penny! PS: I brought this chime indoors, hung it on the chandelier in dining room, then ran an electric fan in it's direction on low speed. Now I have non-stop ZEN in our home and countless hours of listening pleasure!

I was looking for a perfect chime for my new home's ZEN back yard and reading all the reviews for Woodstock chimes, I went to the manufacturer's site and listened to all the sounds. Based on quantity/quality of reviews on Amazon, this chime wasn't even on my list, but it was a total winner from all I listened to. Now, it was quite expensive, something like $180. I would never in my sane mind spend that much on a chime, but I was very pleasantly surprised and happy to locate it on Amazon for like $70 cheaper. Had to have it. I have to say it has met all my expectations and then some. It's quite large and I was a bit worried that due to its size I will never have enough wind to actually get it to 'sing'. And here I was wrong. Weirdly enough, it actually moves more than the other 2, lighter ones, I also have. And sound is heavenly. Every 'bang' creates a peaceful clear sound that resonates into an 'ooommmmm' after-sound that seems to last forever. If I wasn't in Florida, I would think that I am somewhere in Tibet on the top of the mountain. They hang just outside of my home office door to back yard and I like to keep my door open so that I can hear them all day. It keeps me so much more peaceful and balanced.

Sound is clear, deep hum lasts a long time. Really good workmanship. Very large and flat clapper at bottom helps chimes sound off more often when wind hits it. Bottom clapper is as big as my hand. Everything I expected but much louder (which is not a bad thing when they sound so good!). Size is from top of the holder to the bottom of clapper. Longest tube is 32" and shortest is 5". Actually has two clappers for the tubes, one at top for smaller tubes and another lower toward middle for larger tubes, and then of course the flat one at bottom that doesn't hit any tubes at all but catches wind.

Awesome! Such a ethereal, resonant and peaceful sound. I own the entire Gregorian series; love them, but this is my new favorite. The musical 'hang time' of the deeply-pitched tubes is warm, soothing and adds to the peacedul feeling of our lush yard.

I received this as a gift from a very close friend. It has a nice sound to it. I like the amount of octaves it is comprised of and the gentleness of the sound. Thanks, Kathy

Beautifully designed and expertly crafted wind chime. Sound is beautiful, only even slightly negative thing I could say is due to the overall heaviness of this wind chime, it needs a pretty strong wind to make a sound. I would suggest hanging this out in the open as much as possible. Avoid near house, porch, etc locations as you'll rarely hear it. But when you do..OMG it sounds amaaaazing! Also be sure to treat wood parts with pure lemon oil before hanging and every couple months as they suggest.

Bought the Gregorian chimes about 10 years ago and sill enjoy them. Woodstock makes quality chimes that last many years. Recently heard these chimes at a store along the pacific coast and fell in love with them. Bought the Magical Mystery Chimes from Amazon several months ago with a considerable savings over the local retailer price. Hung it outside in our backyard and enjoy hearing the two tone sound that makes much more melodic/complex sound than anything else I've ever heard. Also, very bright sound. Well worth it.
