Excellent glass measuring cup and so handy, as it has metric measurements, as well. It is heavy, high-quality glass. I only wish I could find a larger size, as well.

First off, it has black letters instead of red like the preview picture shows. I know once your viewing it shows black but I wanted to make sure it was known.This is like a beer glass with measurement markings on it, quite nice. I got this to use while measuring heavy cream and MCT oil when making my Keto Chow and it works very nicely. It allows me to quickly measure 225 ml of heavy cream.I'm going to use this for basically everything liquid related. I have 2 pyrex measuring cups (2 cup and 4 cup) but this has more styles of measurement on it which makes it easy when working with recipes. Just feeling it, I can tell if you put this in super hot water for a while the measurement markings would peel off, so I'll never do that. I'm glad I bought this, it was worth it for my needs.

The media could not be loaded. I use this measuring glass for baking and absolutely love it! I already broke one as it dropped on the floor so had to reorder. I ordered 3 as my husband likes to drink from them lol. They’re a little bit of a different style. This measuring glass has every measurement - cups, grams, tablespoons, teaspoons, ounces, etc….. Great for baking. Just be careful as it is glass. It is THICK glass, so nothing cheap. It is a little more expensive, but well worth the cost! Easy to read. One of my favorite baking items.

The previous reviewers covered very good points. It is a standard pint glass, and those aren't the best for pouring. It does have multiple measurement scales printed on it. It probably will fade in the dishwasher.Accuracy?Pretty close.Because of the angled walks of the glass, you have to stoop down to accurately read these measurements.The "cup" measurements appeared accurate. They were consistent with my Oxo measuring cup, and within acceptable range of my graduated cylinder (assuming 1/2 cup = 118ml).The ml measurement was off by a few. When I poured in 100ml of water from a graduated cylinder, it showed on the glass as more, by maybe 5-10 ml. This error was consistent at 200 & 300 ml, suggesting the lines are spaced right, just the whole scale is just a couple mm too low. So your metric measurements on this glass will come up light by 5-10ml if you rely on these markings. That's not gonna ruin your soup.I've added a couple photos to this review to show the measurement error.Because it's stout, pretty accurate, useful for metric recipes, I'm giving this cup 4 stars.Because I have to hand wash it, and the accuracy is not perfect, and it isn't as easy to pour as others... I'm not giving it 5 stars.I still would be willing to recommend this measuring cup to a friend. Just maybe not to a friend who's really high strung about these things.

so glad I bought this - even though the black and white printed version is more expensive than the red printed version - not sure why ?? This has all of the measurements that you would ever want. Obviously, with butter or shortening or anything thick - this would be a challenge to use and I would stick with conventional measuring scoops. The glass is heavy duty, but others are saying DO NOT USE IN DISHWASHER or the printed ink will fade. So just hand wash and you'll be fine.
