True to size. I’m usually a size 7-7.5 in US sizing, but sized up to size 8 after watching the video, but I think I would probably be ok if I went with my original size. I wear them with socks so it wasn’t too much of a problem, and I was worried that my feet would swell after a long plane ride, so size 8 worked well with my feet. No breaking in needed. Absolutely didn’t need time to break in, though I did need one day of wearing to get used to the arches as I’ve never bought shoes with arch support. The back of the shoe is extremely soft and made it very easy to slip on and off for going through customs, on the plane, and at mosques, however whenever people stepped onto my shoe, my whole foot slipped out of the shoe which made it slightly annoying. Very comfortable. I bought these shoes for my Dubai and Brunei trip, which would involve a lot of walking. I was slightly worried as the soles didn’t feel as soft as I anticipated, but was super surprised that my feet didn’t ache at all during my 8-day trip, and now I don’t feel right when I’m wearing shoes without arch support although I don’t have flat feet or high arches. Looks good with anything. I have a lot of white shoes at home already, so I decided to go with Tapa, which looked good with all the outfits I wore on my trip, including dresses. Even my mum noticed my new pair of shoes and said they were very functional and didn’t look anything like the traditional walking shoes with arch support which are usually very bulky and not stylish. Extremely breathable, and although a lot of sand got in my shoes when I was at the Arabian Desert, it was very easy to shake the sand out of my shoes. Quick shipping. I live in Hong Kong, and I ordered my Olukais on 14th March and received them on 23rd March, just in time for my trip.

Very comfy, my feet normally hurt after a few hours of walking because I didn't have enough fat on the bottoms of my feet. They were the correct size, are a nice off white color and have good traction.

I bought these because I detest it when my feet get hot, but I live in a hot & humid climate and wanted cute white sneakers. The shoes were instantly comfortable on my feet and turned out pretty light weight-wise. I wear them in a hot Southeast Asian city, and I am happy to have these as a cute sporty shoe that goes with any outfit. After about 3 months of wearing 3-5 times a week, they maintain most of their integrity. However, the white strip around the side of the sole is beginning to separate from the top fabric in a few spots, which is also happening with the other pair of Olukai sneakers I own. No holes yet, but a few small gaps. Lastly, the shoes pick up dirt and marks easily, while cleaning them properly is a puzzle I haven't yet solved. So they are not really white anymore 😁

Easy to wash in the machine with a mesh bag! The shoes are simple to put on and comfortable to wear. Great value for the money since they're easy to wash (air dry) and they look good as new! I've had them for 2 years and they are true to size. I wear a size 8. Lightweight and super comfortable for walking and great to wear on long-haul flights.

I love these shoes. They are completely adorable. However I did sustain bad sisters on my pinky toes due to the tight fit of the toe area. It is wide enough but the canvas doesn't provide enough space in height of the toe box area. It does have a narrow fit, but I also have narrow feet so this is an unusual issue for me. I ordered up in size because other reviews said they ran tight. The area where the top is sewn to the side panel creates a ridge that is pretty uncomfortable so I had to wear a thicker sock. They get dirty easily especial when folding the heel for slip on use. I coated mine in stain/water repellent spray which helps them clean up in the wash easily. I definitely suggest treating them before use to keep them bright and white. After wearing them 6/7 times they started to loosen up more and were more comfortable. Although I love the style and footbed comfort the other issues rained on my parade. I wouldn't plan on taking a new pair on vacation like did. Give them time to break in. For the price, I expected a better, more comfortable fit.

The problem is that the website has the wrong comparisons between UK and US sizes. For example, it states a UK 6 is a 38 WHICH IS SO WRONG. A 38 IS A 5!!!! What a waste of time!! Needless to say, they were returned and I await the size up, however, I am also not sure about the lining quality - we shall see!

These are really great casual shoes. They are remarkably comfortable with a fairly supportive insole. I have not used the drop heal feature. I had hoped to wear the shoe without a sock - but found them to be a little scratchy along the mid point where the laces start at the bottom. My feet are medium width and they have a good amount of space in the toe box without feeling cramped. I have worn these for high walking vacation days (over 25 km and my feet did not hurt). I would highly recommend these- the shoes are cute/ stylish and comfortable

These snug fitting, soft shoes were advertised on YouTube as good for your feet, & good for balance. They are light, flexible and attractive, the back is cleverly designed so it folds down to allow more comfort when wearing it as a mule rather than a shoe. The best part is the detachable inner sole which excellent in any of my shoes, providing some structure and arch support. The shoe itself was a disappointment. I feel as if I’m padding around in it rather than walking. That’s fine if one wants to pad around. I prefer support. Although it’s laced, the front is cut both low and wide from a very soft, giving material. When walking I feel off balance, uncomfortable, always conscious of my feet. It’s possible that a younger person would like like them better than I do.

Did not fit - still waiting after 8 days for my refund!
