I was surprised at how difficult it was to just find a simple front usb expansion without all the extra bells and whistles.I have an older original core i7 920 system (so no USB 3.0) in one of the old Coolermaster wave master cases. It didn't have a front usb port but I wanted that convinience. My DAS keyboard has a pair of USB connectors on it but those are typically in use so this 2 port hub worked well.It even comes with a second 2 port header that you can flush mount against any flat surface and connect to another usb motherboard header.

I have an older case which only has two USB 1.1/2.0 ports.I used the additional faceplate with the 3.5" cut out and installed a Koutech 4-Port SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Front Panel Hub http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0064TT5Y8/ref=oh_details_o08_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 giving me now a total of four USB 2.0 ports and four USB 3.0 ports. It comes with cables to attach to a nine pin motherboard header or two internal or external A female ports. It also comes with an expansion slot dust cover with two cutouts for routing the cables to an outside port.

The media could not be loaded.  I own 2 of these and I really like having them in my PCthis also doubles as a 5.25 to 3.5 adapter, comes with usb extension cables a few other goodies

i though it was 3.5 inches, other wise OK..

Good quality product. Comprehensive solution for adding front panel USB for my application. Have been using for 4 months with no issues whatsoever. Would buy again.

Its a 5.25 drive day adapter with USB ports. Not much to say. It fits really tight but works.

Kids friend broke his case's built in usb ports. This took care of the problem. Came with multiple ways to mount. May order one for myself.

Easy to install, easy to plug in. Installed in a Cooler Master 300 case.
