Works great, much quieter than previous
I bought this to replace another 40x40x28 PSU fan in my 1U rackmount at home. Of course, as with any replacement like this, there is a pro/con. My previous PSU fan went out, so I put a 15k RPM fan and it was loud as hell. I replaced it with this Sunon fan. The Sunon is a slower RPM than my previous fan so yes, the PSU is hotter but not to the point to where its a fire hazard. Much quieter. Excellent deal, even for $14.

Nice fan, but...
Wish it came with screws, now I've got to hunt for those, too.

My new 3D printer cooling fan of choice
MASSIVE 40 mm fan. Needed something for my 3D printer that would work and this thing fits the bill. Blows a lot of air, the most I have ever felt from any 40mm fan (more than some 120mm case fans I've had...). The fan blades themselves are about the same size as a regular 40x40x20 fan, but the motor assembly is about 3x the size. At full RPM it is pretty loud. I use a manual fan controller on my printer so I can dial in the speed for what I'm printing, and usually only need it at about 30-50%.

They work just fine.
Exact replacements for fans in the hard drive bay of a server. They work just fine.

Four Stars
Works perfectly for replacing the fans in the telecom gear that we needed to refurbish.

GREAT FOR E3D EXTRUDERS
USED THIS ON MY E3D VOLCANO EXTRUDER HEAT SINK, PRODUCES SO MUCH MORE AIR THAN THE STANDARD E3D 30MM FANS, CAN CERTAINLY FEEL THE MOVEMENTOF AIR AND DEFINATLY THE BEST I HAVE TRIED ON ANY EXTRUDER

Works exactly like a fan should
Works exactly like a fan should....blows air...loud...but in this type of fan...quiet isn't an option if you want airflow.

Great!
Super high air flow, great for 3d printers. I only run mine at about 60% speed and it gets the job done.
