This book explains concepts in a way that is easy to understand. The format of the book is clear and reader-friendly. I definitely read the book for class and it has helped me excel

Very well written book with the exception of a couple of things: 1. the chapters on confounding and bias were a bit confusing 2. many of the examples that compared two different scenarios contained data that were essentially identical in terms of the differences. It's a bit hard to explain, but when you read it you'll understand. It's very confusing as a result to determine the differences between two different scenarios. Aside from clear writing overall, I also really liked the fact that there was an entire chapter dedicated to the answers for all the problems in the book.

excellent review of epidemiology and related concepts! My wife was doing this course and I read a lot of texts but this one was very easy road and i understood a lot more. Highly recommend for advanced or beginner

I took an epidemiology course along with a bio-statistics course. I honestly ussed the biostat book for all my epidemiology assignments, its pretty much the same concepts. The copy i received had water damage, but there was no pages missing so when i did use the book i was able to get what i needed.

Just arrived a couple days after ordered. Love reading it as it is quite sample and very easy to understand.

This book was (I think) called good condition, and it is. It is well taken care of. It does have lots of highlights and marks in the first few chapters, but it's still very usable.

Required course material. I like that the electronic version has a search feature so that you can quickly move to the section you want to look at. I can also view it on any device- phone, laptop, or tablet.

I rented this book from Amazon; I had rented before and the conditions of the books were very good. This one, however, was highlighted all over the place and even had a cracked binding (which made it open to the same page every time). I had to use it for a class, so it worked well for that.

This is a Fantastic text book. Needed it for a class, but I really learned a lot.
