This isn't exactly for a colt style revolver but, I had to try. The nipples had been on for years and 2 of them wouldn't come out. I actually broke 2 nipple wrenches trying to get them out before I got this one. It is a very snug fit on that type of revolver and won't spin completely around but, I got enough of a bite to break them loose which is all I needed. This is much stronger and better built than the others I have

Does what it's supposed to do on a maintained rifle. I used it for a year or so for cleaning after a day of shooting my black powder rifles. The only negative is the weak metal. For a properly torqued nipple it works fine. Unfortunately a friend acquired a rifle that was not cleaned properly and had a seized nipple. The wrench broke after I applied too much torque attempting to break it free. I ordered another and have used it for a few years with no issues.However, I will never try to use it on a stuck nipple again!

Excellent product very well made

It doesn’t fit the most popular models & brands. Total wrong size and metal is butter soft and deformed & wouldn’t get a single cone off of any of the 3 different cylinders it was tried on. Beyond useless-needle nose pliers actually works wo messing up ur cones. Won’t even go into a 58 btw it’s too big around & just peeled off everything else. Literally could not get a single cone off w this, but needle nosed pliers not even made for that, work well for everything Get a slixwrench if u want something that actually works fits and won’t peel off on any new cylinder

Does not work on my 1858 revolver, the end is too large to fit into the recess for the nipple. It does work fine, however, on my Hawken and Plains rifles

Nice tool. Fits my Black powder revolver nipples very nicely, and the included nipple pick is a bonus.

Fits the nipple on my 54 caliber Investarm muzzleloader. The cleaning pin works, but I recommend using a pipe cleaner.
