Bulldog Metal Free Pivot Buckle Web Belt Made in USA by Thomas Bates (Khaki)

Wear this belt all the time. Perfect for travel. Also great for water activities. Highly recommend.

Two of the four plastic pivot studs seem longer that the imported ones, don’t really mind paying a “little more” to keep US companies from outsourcing their products and keep all that made in china worthless trash out of this country. However this belt and buckle cost about three times as much as the imported junk, but over the years as the price of Thomas Bates has increased the quality has decreased. Thomas Bates now claims “Made in the USA” (from global materials). I like the design of the buckle, and need a sturdy web belt. This webbing is pathetic! Much thinner than their older ones.. no doubt to save production costs, though there’s a no name import version with an even weaker buckle but a thicker web belt. They include two buckles and a nylon loop (No loop included from TB), for about 1/3rd of the price. Guess I have to buy both just to get what Thomas Bates used to make... everyone has their hand out, but very few are willing to earn it!
