The item itself is like a weighted condensed foam type material. It’s definitely helped reduce the noise from my exceptionally loud washing machine. Fit underneath the machine perfectly with a few mm to spare. In terms of reducing the “walking” from the washing machine and preventing it from moving, it hasn’t stopped that entirely. This isn’t an issue with the mat though I don’t think. The washing machine I have is a bit of beast with a 10kg drum, levelled perfectly but still moves when it’s doing a spin cycle. All in all, I would recommend the mat if say you had a 6-8kg drum washing machine.

Works perfectly, washing machine vibrating a lot recently and seemed unstable, Now the machine stays firmly in place. No difficulty siting it as others seem to have experienced and I was wary of that. However once I shimmied the first corner onto the mat it didn't slide backwards or ruck up as I thought it might. Just kept moving it backwards and side to side a little at a time. The size I chose fitted the machine exactly if you have the floor space maybe a tiny bit bigger than your machine would be slightly better. Very pleased.

It is nice and thick and stable, making it much harder for appliances to "walk" themselves around, but it is only ever so slightly effective at reducing vibrations from—in my case, a freezer—on the floor and other objects in the room. Also a somewhat difficult to clean. So overall, I don't regret the purchase, but not sure I could recommend it.

Well! Due the counter top, I got left just one inch and a half, so I couldn’t place the washing machine on top of this shock absorber. I bought a slab of 3 mm thick of plywood. I placed the gum on top of plywood, so it can slide on the tiles if I need to move washing machine. It works fine, the gum helps to reduce vibrations.

Good quality as we expected

This mat was a good thickness and size, but it STINKS! A week after I installed it under a mini freezer inside a cupboard in my kitchen, it’s still a really strong smell as I enter the room.. Not ideal.. And the foam isn’t very dense, so it is limited in the amount of vibration it dampens.

Firstly if your washing machine is in a tight spot like mine.. prepare yourself! This is REALLY hard to install. Easier with a nice strong man. Failing that you’ll have to wiggle it back and forwards for an hour and gain some blisters on your hands like me! I’ve found this mat to significantly reduce the noise and banging my washing machine was making. It had not moved from its spot so far and I’m on my third wash! Overall I’m happy with this product. If only it were easier to install.

Un tapis impeccable qui remplie parfaitement sa fonction. Aucun mouvement ni bruit de ma machine. Pour les gens qui disent que leur machine bouge encore il faut juste fixer les pieds aussi. Je recommande ce tapis

Sto usando questo tappeto sotto il mio tapis roulant e direi che fa ottimamente il suo lavoro. L'ho tagliato a metà per mettere i piedini anteriori e posteriori del tapis. Assorbe molto bene le vibrazioni ed anche i rumori, per di più ammortizza anche la camminata.
