I was genuinely shocked by how effective this foot file is. I've used plenty of other files, peels - you name it - but none hold a candle to how well this works. I'd say the results are actually similar to good quality peels (such as Baby Foot) but without the hassle of daily soaking and skin shedding for a week after. A few tips: 1. Move the tool in one direction versus going back and forth. If you do the latter, you put yourself at risk for a burning feeling or worse, tears. This is not specific to the tool itself, this is the way any foot file should be used. 2. Be gentle, no need to rake this across your skin with any kind of force. 3. Try it on dry skin first, versus damp/just out of the shower.

here.. i will save you some time.. no need to read any more reviews.. no need to search any further.. this is THEE BEST file you will find.. it has a filing side a smoothing side and even a compact mini file all in one.. as far as the reviews whining about their toe bleeding i say toughen up soldier hah smh as long as you have enough wisdom to know that your hand is the gas peddle and the brake so to speak then this thing will FIX ANYTHING you need PERIOD . yes your feet will be as smooth as a babys uhm face lol

WOW this thing is amazing!!! it works exceptionally well. it has a rougher side and a finer side to soften and finish up. it is large and easy to use. i am getting one for my aging mother. she will love it as much as i do! i think this is even better than the ones they use at pedicure spas !!!

I love this thing! My heels are smooth and look like I never had thickened or dry skin! Here are my recommendations: 1. ORDER IT!!! 2. I combined using this with Kerasal intensive foot repair. This stuff is amazing. I showered, worked my heels with the my pumice that I already had, and put this on the areas that had the built up skin, put on some socks, and in the morning I noticed a change in the texture. After that, I waited a few days and did a second use, repeating what I had already done and in the morning, the skin was starting to peel and was softened. 3. The foot file arrived. BE CAREFUL removing from box. This thing won't necessarily cut you, but it will catch to any skin, so I suggest letting it slide out onto a surface, maybe set a paper towel down for it to land on. 4. I tried it on dry skin. Note- start with the rougher side with the big bumps on it and you need a light hand. Don't go back and forth. Choose one direction to go in and barely apply pressure, just until you get to know the file. I would do a few swipes, then feel the area, and continued like this until I thought it was filed enough. Then I filipped it over and started smoothing it with the flatter side. This is when my jaw dropped. SMOOTH SMOOTH SMOOTH!!!! Bonus is the tiny one you pull from the handle. I used this on the side of my big toe where I had a little rough spot. 5. I waited a few days and then tried it after I showered. I did one foot immediately after the shower, and it had decent results. Then I did the other foot, about 45mins after my shower and WOW - worked amazingly well. The skin was softer but not too wet, so the file worked amazingly well. I actually went back to the other foot and re-did it. Note, you do have to continue to be careful. Err on the side of caution, one swipe too many and you can end up with something equivalent to road rash/raw skin. 6. Moisturize your tootsies. On my heels and other spots I used the file on I put Bag Balm. Gotta say- it works, I only use it at night, and put socks on. It's greasy and STINKS - I hate the smell. Other options that may be similar are items that are petroleum based. I told two of my girlfriends about this, and one of them got it and used it and LOVES it. Hope the info is helpful!

I love this foot file. My feet have been a mess since I was 16 years old. Over the past 30 years I've tried everything. I've never been as happy with a file for as long as I have been with this one. I soak my feet for about 30 minutes in moisturizing epsom salt and then use the file. I won't say that it works miracles without some elbow grease, but it's as if not more effective than regular coarse foot files. I clean it by scrubbing it with soap and water and then alcohol. You don't want to use too much pressure and for the top of the foot and ankle area use the polishing side very gently. The small file works great for the side of the big toe that always seems to be calloused. What I love the most is that it's so long lasting. I definitely recommend trying this file if you want something long lasting and effective.

Struggling with stubborn hard skin on big toe and heels, this thing works wonders. Get this if all the other remedies didn't work. Not a daily use go to, but beast mode for rough feet.
