Great!
I should had taken a photo but anyone who will be buying this knows generally how it should look after installation. It's just a matter of using the right spacers and alignmening the gear to the sprocket and getting it real tight so it won't slip just some light spring action. I'm happy with this product as I needed a single speed chain tensioner for my NIU uqi sport bike. This bike is over all very well made and the only fault was a plastic Tensioner that after continued tightening broke and became useless. Unfortunately there us no official replacement. This is the closest thing to it and the hole was a perfect match for me to put a bolt thru and tighten with a nut on the other. No slipping especially after a quick tighten with the impact gun. Good tension on spring and enough adjustment for getting gear to match the spur. Solid product would definitely buy again if needed. Tested it for 1 day with full power pedaling and this is what needed to be on the bike from the beginning 🙌 thanks!!

Works but lacks a chain guide
I mounted this and it worked just fine but I elected to buy one with a chain guide instead as I worry about going over pot holes and curbs and throwing my chain with this. For the price and ease of installation though it cant be beat.

Just what my son's bike needed!
Added this to a janky bicycle chain that was just a link or 2 too much and would derail often in the middle of a ride. Couldn't keep tension on it by the axle nuts alone. This took all the slack out of the chain and keeps good tension on the chain and has not derailed in months of riding on and offroad!

Works Great after Simple Modification
"Modification of the Tensioner's mounting arm was necessary before I could install it on my Recumbent Trike. The mounting arm has a machined rectangle extrusion on one side to fit the slot in the bike frame, but I had to remove it for better placement. This was easily accomplished in five minutes with a crosscut file. After reading other reviews, I noticed that some people had trouble adjusting the tension. It's actually very simple, as I demonstrated in the video. My only concern is the use of aluminum for the idler wheel/pulley instead of steel. This may not be a wise decision as aluminum has a greater potential for wear compared to steel. You can see more details in my video." The reason for the 3 Stars was because there were no instructions, and aluminum was used for the idler wheel.

A good and inexpensive solution for chain tensioning. Very clean and aesthetic design.
As it turned out, I wasn’t able to use it as I’d hoped with my particular hub setup. But, I’ll hang on to the tensioner and add it to my bin of bike parts where it will likely come in handy sometime in another situation.

Small and works fine
Perfect fit on beach cruiser. Tensioner is adjustable with allen wrench. My set screw was stripped, but easily replaced with a bike bottle screw.

Easy to adjust, but there are some things to know
You can take the arms apart to reveal 6 different slots for the spring to start. This hidden adjustment allows the arm to hold tensions at a varying angle. Without knowing that this tensioner is only 1/2 as useful and may not even fit your application

DOES NOT ATTACH TO A BICYCLE.
LOL. What a joke, so glad it was cheap! Came with no hardware or instructions or pictures of its intended use. As a former bike mechanic, I was completely stumped as to how they expected to attach this to a bike. I even took it apart and rearranged the parts to try to get it to work, but then it doesn't reach the chain, lol. Skip this trash and buy the 4 Jerry SS Chain tensioner. It installed in seconds and has spring tension.
