Kamaaina Brand Sea Salt - Fine Grains Net Wt. 32 Oz.

I love this salt, it has a nice, mellow and sweet flavor. Unfortunately, it was shipped in a padded bag and the bag of salt was smashed open inside, so all the salt was loose. I had to re-bag it in a ziplock bag and will put it in a sealed container when I can get one.

After reading Consumer Labs report on the micro plastics found in many salts (they found Hawaiian sea salt was the lowest sea salt in micro plastics) we decided to try try something other than the Pakistani Himalayan salt we'd used for years. This comes in no frills packaging, just a plastic bag. As others have noted, it's not fine grain salt as generally defined in mass market salts. However, it is a finer crystal size than many sea salts. For table use you're going to have to grind it smaller if you want the usual size grains for your food. I can't really say that this tastes any different from other sea salts but it tastes fine. As I said, the main reason we switched to this is to reduce micro plastics in our diet.

This is a nice Hawaiian salt. Good for salting the inside of fish for grilling. A nice larger grain used sparingly on everyday food.

It is a bit finer than the old days, but the quality is as salty as it ever was. Thank you for making this product available for us old-timers!

This is my secret ingredient for grilling or roasting meat and seafood - as well as veggies! I even use it for boiling pasta. Kamaaina Brand provides the best flavor for cost of all sea salts especially when used in cooking. It seasons without a harsh aftertaste. I season pork and beef steaks by rubbing a bit in both sides, let rest up to 30 mins and then grill, broil, or fry - no other seasoning needed. This product is not easily found where I live now and I am thankful for the good service from this seller on Amazon. Thank you JDJ Trading Company!

While I haven't made my Kahlua pork, the salt does taste quite good. I know this because my bag had a hole in it. I didn't complain because it was small and its salt. lol. So I guess my suggestion is to be more careful while packing it. Otherwise, its great and it came super fast!

The only problem I had was the plastic bag had a puncture hole in it. The product itself is great. I use it in cooking . Love the taste.
