Beautifully constructed, engraved, and antiqued. If I didn't know better I'd think it was over 100 years old. It also works great, and brings distant objects up close and clear as a bell. The storage case is equally as beautiful, and together they make a nice addition to my nautical collection.

Looks great and is functional. Got as a going away gift for a shipmate. Had a buddy engrave the top with his initials and it came out perfect. Great price and quality.

I see there are a lot of version of this item, but this is the one I bought. It exceeded my expectations as far as quality. It's well built and comes in a nice wooden box with well thought details like brass inlays. Whoever designed and said "this is how we should make this thing" thought through the details and I commend them for their attention to detail. It's a lot of fun and works for watching birds and squirrels when I sit in my yard. Thank you. Only feedback to share is the oil of whatever you use on the finish has a very strong petroleum smell. I suppose this may be necessary for it to slide well but it's more than noticeable and kind of off-putting - perhaps use a more natural lubricant. There is no COO on this product - I don't care but I have a good idea where it is made and they should be proud to stamp this as made in ?????,

Well made looks great not a wide open view, have to hunt a little for what your looking at but works and looks great for what it is! Nice price also, makes a great desk or fireplace piece!

I gifted this to my grandfather, a adventurous man. When received, we noticed the amount of fine detail and craftsmanship that went into this product, feels like it was time traveled from back then right to you. The way it functions is amazing, the zoom is insane but what was more interesting was how clear the image was when looking through it. He loved it and looks marvelous on display

It’s perfect. It works as described and is a quality piece. An additional plus is the beautiful wooden case to store it. I bought one for me, and one as a gift.

to be honest I didn't remember buying this because I was having indigestion and panicked. when it arrived I thought it was a gift and told all my friends I loved them and obviously had to take it back when I realized. This is a very enjoyable product. It is easy to focus. You will look very majestic holding it. Your hands will smell like brass but it won't bother you because of how cool you look and you probably own soap. It is not a low light telescope because what do you expect light will just bend into the tiny opening. I stood outside and looked at birds with this and my neighbour got very jealous. He was using his eyes to look at the birds like a peasant. I am so happy.

Husband was delighted at this novelty item. He loves stuff like this. It does work , albeit with a fuzzy image but did not buy it for telescopic reasons. Nice display item. Lovely box.
