One step up from costume quality
The hat is very stiff, and doesn't seem to have great quality to it. But it looks nice, and it's reasonably priced. It's better than those cheap $10 Halloween costume hats you can buy. However if you want a a nice derby hat to wear with a nice suit, then spend the extra $20 to get a high quality one.

Nice Quality at a fair price. Attractive hat when I were it. Comes in a very sturdy box so it will be safe from shipping damage. I went up an 1/8" to the next size hat and it fit perfect.
