Good Value for the Price
I bought this keyboard as a backup for my main keyboards - either my Roland VR-730 or Yamaha P-121. I wanted something small, with a good piano and electric piano sound. I originally bought the Yamaha NP12 which sounded ok, but the keys were not full size, so I had to return it. I'm happy to report the Roland Go:Piano does feature full sized keys. There's a few things I would change if I could - The controls are all "touch activated" - they are not physical buttons, so that is somewhat concerning to me. Also, they produce a "click" through the output to verify they've been activated, which is a bit annoying. Apparently, that can be turned off. There should be a 1/4" TS connector for audio output - instead it's a 1/8" mini jack, like for headphones. And for some reason, it doesn't like my sustain pedal - it works backward, and I can't find a switch on either the keyboard or the pedal. This is odd as the pedal works correctly with all my other keyboards, and I'm using a cheap Yamaha pedal that is working correctly. Perhaps that switch is buried somewhere deep in some menu. The action is as expected with a keyboard in this price range. The keys are not weighted, which I am willing to accept for a backup keyboard. They are touch sensitive however, and the sensitivity is adjustable through the menu - a nice feature. It is all plastic, and it feels like cheap plastic, but again, that is expected for a keyboard in this price range. On the plus side, it is very light weight, and compact. It would have been nice if it came with a gig bag, even a cheap one, but one should be able to be found without too much trouble. The instruction manual is a little lacking. For example, it says nothing other than "You can connect a pedal switch (sold separately DP series), and use it as a hold pedal" regarding the sustain pedal. The pedal I have which works backward is a generic pedal, so I may splurge for an DP series Roland pedal. I'm sure it'll be expensive. Overall, the sound quality is good. The piano sounds even better than my VR-730, and as good as the Yamaha P-121, and the electric piano, which is the sound I use most, is acceptable. Not quite as good as my other Roland or Yamaha, but good enough to use with the band. There are a few other sounds that are pretty good as well. So if you are looking for an inexpensive, compact, good sounding electric piano, this is a pretty good deal. I may make adjustments to this review going forward as I just received the unit and have only been playing it for an hour or so, but so far, I'm happy with the purchase.

Ultra Lightweight, Loud Speakers
Positives: Loud speakers, battery operated (needs it otherwise doesn't store your settings), Bluetooth (with midi), comfortable touch sensitive keys, easy to use Negatives: Limited sounds, unable to create layered sounds (only what is stored), 1/8" output only, no midi out or USB connection, limited features in general The reason I wanted this was for the sounds that came with but at $300 maybe I can find something better.

Sounds Great....fits in RV closet... .
The Roland Go Piano is a high quality instrument that can be used for Busking. When paired with a Mipro MA808 battery powered amplifier you can produce professional sound. Roland made the springs in the keys slightly heavier in order to emulate a weighted keyboard, like my Korg Grandstage. I was looking for a small footprint keyboard that sounded good, had velocity sensitive keys and fit in my RV closet. To adjust the Key Touch sensitivity go to settings. The Light setting gives me the most even sound. Being able to shift the sound an octive down or up, is a useful feature. Roland did a great job, it is more than just a beginners keyboard.

I recently want to share that I am super happy with my purchase of the GO:PIANO 61-Key Portable Digital Piano Keyboard with Onboard Bluetooth Speakers and Electronic Teaching that I found on Amazon. This piano is fun to play, and I also call it my "serenity machine" because I love sitting down to the GO:PIANO every morning as I get into my music. It's got a nice feel to the keyboard and as Roland says, "premium piano performance in a compact and affordable instrument with full-size keys and authentic touch response." The Roland piano sounds offer a variety, and I especially like that several types of acoustic piano sounds are included.

Basically a neat toy. You may want to go for a fancier Roland.
This really should be for absolute beginners. The feel of the keys is bad, and the sound is worse. I resold this on Craigslist almost immediately. (I didnโt feel like I should return the product, as it functions as a keyboard).

Kinda meh, close to awesome but missed the mark in all the wrong spots
The keys do have a weird springiness. I guess its "semi-weighted" but the springiness has become off-putting to me. Its very hard to the tone right. The app kinda stinks as well and the bluetooth midi doesnt work great. I can only get it to work with some apps on my phone and i habe to use a 3rd party app to get the midi to connect properly to that. Its a shame really. Its a fantastic size and its super portable, but i do regret my purchase. I should have opted for something a little less travel size and given up on the desire for the feeling of weight because i find that it actually detracts from my practice. Consider the review 2 and a half stars. Honestly frustrated because i wanted to love this thing and I did at first, but ive come to dislike it.

Great travel keyboard
Great for travel. Good (if slightly stiff) full-sized keys. Not your first keyboard, but worth having.
