BanyanTree Foods Premium Kasuri Methi (Premium Dried Fenugreek Leaves 70g)~All Natural, Indian Origin

This is a decent quality Kasuri methi and the quantity is generous — honestly more than I’ll probably use in a year. The flavour is good though, and it added exactly what I was looking for to the Indian-style curry I made. A little goes a long way, so it should last a long time. Good value overall if you cook Indian dishes regularly.

Love this, third time purchasing. Amazing quality. It lasts such a long time as it's a huge bag and is really flavourful, makes such a difference to my homemade curries! The resealable bag is really helpful as I've bought other brands which didn't have this and had to decant into containers which wasn't as convenient

Has great taste but can be bitter if you add too much. One level table spoon for two people serving.

Bought this large bag as I couldn’t find any in the supermarkets (there must have been a temporary shortage as the shelf label was there, but no product for a few weeks!). When first opening they smelled like they should. Actually more course than the version you get in the small supermarket jars, so you need to rub between your fingers to make the leaves a bit finer. As the bag is so large and has been open a while now and not even a quarter used, it’s like any spice/herb, it’s starting to smell a little stale. However that’s not a complaint of the quality, if I used a lot more it would have been used up quicker 😂.

Quality ingredient, pouch was packed well and the aroma was lovely on opening. Goes well with Italian, Indian, Iranian recipes - and probably many others. I use it most frequently in stews and in lentil curries.

There were many sellers of fenugreek leaves on Amazon. I chose to buy from Banyan Tree, despite them being more expensive than others, because they looked well packaged in a resealable pouch. Indeed the write up said specifically “ We package our pure fenugreek leaves in double-layered press lock sachets to ensure that you truly experience these wonderful properties!” The photo shows what arrived. A plain plastic bag, no writing to confirm it’s provenance and more importantly not resealable - so now I have to sort that out myself. I could have bought this pack more cheaply. I had some other Banyan Tree products in my basket but have now deleted them. Won’t buy from them again.

Riecht sehr aromatisch, gut mit den Fingern verreibbar trotz Stielen. Kann ich sehr empfehlen!
