Great belt!
Great belt! The size is accurate, and it feels great. Super strong/stable. It’s nice and thick, and I like the color.

Good inexpensive option
I’ve had this belt for a few days under a year at this point. I was coming to give an update and saw that I never actually reviewed it so here we go. Just about a year later and this belt still provides as much support as it did in the beginning. The suede is slightly lighter on the outside. Not as black as it once was. Not a problem though. The lever is still functional and shows no signs of degraded performance. All of the stitches are still in perfect order. No separating of the materials or anything. Aside from the slight “fading” the belt is in comparable condition to when I got it. As far as use it provided great support. That’s why I stuck with it so long. My only complaint after the fact is that in my opinion the belt sizing covers a bit too much range and the first hole doesn’t start until about 4 inches in so you can end up with quite a bit of excess belt left over if you’re on the low end of the belt range. If I were doing it again I’d order a size down. That’s my main complaint. This belt required me to adjust the excess which would often get caught on my shirt when securing the lever. I ended up getting the belt I initially wanted (arrived today) which is a lot more expensive but a true medium and only covers a 3 inch range. It’s night and day already in that regard. This is a great belt but again order a size down if you’re on the low end of the size range and to hawk sports. I’d look into the sizing. Having the first hole start so far in is not good.

Solid Belt with Minor Clasp Issues
The Hawk Sports Weightlifting Belt is overall a solid piece of gym gear. The quality feels decent and durable enough for regular lifting sessions, and it provides good support when performing heavier lifts like squats and deadlifts. The only downside I’ve noticed is that the clasp can get stuck sometimes, which can be a little frustrating when you’re trying to quickly adjust or remove the belt between sets. That said, it still does what it’s supposed to do, it offers stability and helps maintain proper form during lifts. Overall, it’s a good belt for the price and a reliable option for anyone looking for basic lifting support with just a small inconvenience to keep in mind.

Best belt!!!
Great belt!!! Really helps me with squats. Not too small or too big but just right!!! Highly recommend if you lift heavy or a powerlifter!

Poorly made belt.
Let’s start with the two screws they Are made out of super soft metal therefore they stripped out, wouldn’t have been a problem, but I had to keep adjusting the lever on the belt due to the soft malleable leather on every lift session the belt with stretch and no longer fit proper so I had to keep adjusting where the lever needed to be. A good belt will stay firm and tight not stretch after one session. Also, the lever it’s self has a very sharp edge to it and can be uncomfortable. Complete waste of money, considering if you spend 25 more dollars you can purchase amd well heavy duty made 10mm belt from iron bull right here on Amazon, that’s what I did once I decided to ditch this POS. Happy new year.

Not leather. Mediocre belt. Good customer service.
1. The belt I received is NOT leather—it's made of artificial materials. I tested it by heating a nail and pressing it against the belt. On real leather, this would leave a burn mark (brand). On this belt, the nail went straight through. You can see the small hole in the below the buckle holes in the photo where I'm holding the belt. 2. The buckle has some issues: - 2a. It's very heavy, which at first seems like a good thing. However, the geometry isn’t quite right, so it doesn’t hook the belt securely. The cam mechanism also isn’t strong enough to keep it closed reliably. - 2b. It doesn’t stay shut well. In my photo where I'm wearing the belt, you can see two hinges in the center. For the buckle to close securely, the left (outer) hinge should sit closer to the body than the right (inner) hinge when locked—but it doesn’t. Additionally, the belt slides down the prongs that hold it in place, away from the lever (and toward the user's body). This creates an issue when closing the latch: the angle of pull causes the belt to slip off the front prongs. Then the part of the belt that's not fully on the prongs gets sandwiched between the two buckle parts. When this happens, the buckle doesn’t lock. - 2c. It has popped open during a lift. In my video of a squat, the belt opens unexpectedly. I’m not sure if it caught on my shorts or if it was just the pressure of the lift, but either way, that could have been dangerous if I had been lifting 300 lbs instead of 150 lbs. Now that I’m aware of the issue, I check it carefully before each use to ensure it's properly closed. 3. Customer service is responsive. When I told them the belt wasn’t leather, they immediately offered a refund. I still wish I had a leather belt, but this one is serviceable for now. Unfortunately, due to the latch issues, it's not as quick to put on as I had hoped. I'm still thinking about buying a proper leather one and probably I'll opt for one with a more traditional closure style.

Nice product, good price
For for my son, who says it's one of the better belts he's had. I don't know a lot about them, but it was thick leather, and very sturdy. Looked more comfortable than the old lifting belts.
