The Timber Hawk Killshot offers the backcountry adventurer a pack that has a small enough profile to quietly navigate thick timbers, but is still big enough to accommodate enough gear for a couple of nights in the woods, in any terrain, any time of the year. Crafted of polyester brushed tricot with PVC backing, this quiet cloth pack has a large capacity main compartment, Raptor compression straps for load stability and right and left hip belt accessory pockets for instant access to gear or snacks. Features include the Hawk-Eye binocular strap system, Silent Stalk quick-ejection clips for dropping the pack in a hurry, blaze orange pull-out rain fly, bottom and top lashing points for external storage, drop-down scabbard for secure rifle storage, internal spotting scope sleeve, dual shoulder strap pockets for radios, phones and GPS. Other features that lend an advantage to serious hunters include a quiet, durable twill lining, padded front organizer, fleece lined accessory pocket and a removable shoulder strap pouch with magnetic closure. This model comes with a two-liter hydration bladder, and can carry a rifle or bow in several different ways.

Great pack for 3 day or more hunting excursion or if you plan on packing out a lot of game meat, etc
This is great pack for hunters going on a 3 day or more hunt or taking large game, since its large and has some weight to it even when empty. Large main compartment. Also has plenty of lashing points inluding on bottom of pack to strap down tent, chair, bed roll, etc. Plenty of pockets inside and on sides for nick nacks. The weapon carry pouch (only one) can be moved to either side of of pack. You can strap down bow and quiver without using weapon carry pouch. I suggest going on Timber Hawk website for demo. The water bladder is great addition. The waist pockets have plenty of room . The shoulder strap contains one pocket that holds my Garmin GPS perfect. Zippers are super quiet. Has blaze orange rain fly in pouch on bottom for easy use and stow. I attached a carbiner to the carry handle on top so I could hang it if in a stand. This is a great pack . I'm glad I bought it.

Sometimes you get lucky and get more than you paid for.
This is a pack built bomb proof. Huge main compartment can hold a ton of meat . Plenty of other compartments and pockets to stash everything else. Pouches on the waist belt and the shoulder straps holds ammo, cell phone, radio, gps etc. Seems every compartment has more pockets inside of it. There's a pull out orange pack cover concealed in a zippered pouch at the bottom if the pack for safety. Straps, belts all fully adjustable. Water bladder included. Built solid! If I had to complain about anything it would be that it's a bit heavy even empty. But I think it's just because it's built so solid it had to be. I'm okay with that. The quality and accessories are that of other packs that cost near $300 but I paid $129. I recommend you get one before this brand grows and the price grows with it.

Quiet, Roomy, and Rugged
My first concern out of the box was the heavy manufactured smell but half a bottle of your favorite scent concealer will fix that. Second concern is it has some weight to it but, the nicely padded adjustable waist belt keeps the pack centered and distributes the weight nicely. Third the zippers ... Amazing they do not bind up they are easy too pull open or closed even with gloves on and through my first day (12 miles) they all stayed closed. Fourth I did have a 20 minute rain and all was dry without using the Orange rain cover (forgot it was there). My pack weighed in at 42 lb's when packed ... 3 changes of clothes/ 4 days of food/ field dress kit & bags/ first aid kit/ knives/ axe/ phone/ camara/ tripod/ tent/ tarp/ sleeping bag/ rope/ backpackers stove and 1 fuel bottle. After my first day out my neck was killing me (I had the chest strap pulled to tight placing the pack weight onto my neck and shoulders) trying to prevent pack shifting while climbing in areas.Second day loosened the chest strap and the pack stayed in place neck and shoulder pain subsided.Hunted and hiked 33 miles in 4 days of scrub oak, pinion-pines, and cactus without any rip tears or snags. No frame creeking or groaning, 2 liter hydration bag is great without leaks. The Bino attachment points built into the shoulder straps are perfect.Lastly the quick pack release on the pack straps function well for those times when you fall over and are to tired or injured to get up under the pack weight. Just pull the quick releases on the shoulder straps and you are free.Going too buy another one as a gift ... it was money well spent.

I love all of the features
I love all of the features, it has a ton. It has a bunch of straps and attach points for fastening my bow (4) I've use 2 when going into the woods. I like the multiple pockets for easy access to gear. It has a large center for stowing extra clothing. comes with a rain cover in florescent orange which is easy to access and store, I use it in rifle season when walking. The only negative is that it was heavier than I expect or prefer. but is solid and keeps its shape when hanging from a treestand hook or setting on the ground. The weight kept me from giving it 5 stars.

Whole lotta awesome!
This backpack is a whole lot of awesome. I was at a loss of what all to put into it. Granted I didn't use it for any overnight stays in the woods, I would go out for the day and come back to camp in the evening. It's a lot larger than I thought it would be but I really like it. The only suggestion would be somewhere to put a sidearm. I carry a 9m in an in-band holster, which I ended up putting on the belt of the backpack. It scratched the hell out of the stock of my riffle. Other than that, I really love this backpack and recommend it.

Kick a** pack for hunting
Finally took this bad boy on a hunt. Awesome pack. Plenty of room for alll my gear and it is comfortable. I wore it for 2 ½ days of hunting/hiking through the woods in search of furry varmints and the pack was never an issue. Loved it. The only (very small) drawback was the waist harness had a tendency to sit on top of my pistol holster. It did not impede a pistol draw at all so no biggie there.
