Competition Electronics Pocket Pro Timer, Blue

The first version was recommended to me from someone who had it for over 6 years. I got this one and it works great. Ran multiple qualifiers using this. Easy to use. The right amount of settings and not too much feedback. You can read your splits and shot time history up to 10 I believe. Which is plenty. The time setting is easy to use. It runs on a 9v and I’m sure the battery will last a substantial amount of time. So far so good.

I had no idea what a slower than molasses hack shooter I was until this thing painted a clear picture. I thought I was the Cisco Kid, but my grand mother get's better times than me. But you don't know how to fix a problem until you actually see the problem. This hangs from the belt perfectly. Fairly easy controls when you get the hang of it. It's the same grade what what they are using at the matches. Just pop a 9v battery in and let it show you that you are slower than Christmas. Eccentrical component if you ever want to get better. If you want to be competitive, you need a timer, and this one works great.

While the timer has everything you need to get used to shooting "on the clock", the controls aren't exactly instinctive. The casing and especially the clip also seems a bit cheap, the plastic seems to be molded in Polystyrene which doesn't hold up to impact (dropping it!) or sunlight, so I'm careful to guard-against both. That said, I like having it in my range bag. If you use it within the limitations of the device, it's a great value for the price.

I've used this for 4-5 training sessions so far and it works great. Easy to use and all the buttons are marked and easy to understand what they're for. Recommend

Favorite shot timer. Super easy to use and sensitive enough to shoot subs suppressed.
