My cat was shredding my door frames (after I sprayed the couch with repellant to stop her from shredding my couch). This tape stopped her from scratching the door frames. I left it on for a few months hoping to break the habit. I just removed it and it came off easily without damaging the paint. The tape does collect hair and lint. I will probably replace it once the new paint has dried and cured.

I like how well it stuck to the furniture, and how it was easy to take off when needed. Also it did what it was supposed to do. Keept your cat from scratching the furniture

This tape is better than I thought. We recently adopted two 4 month old kittens. I forgot how they like to sharpen their claws on everything. This has really helped! I added some to the corner of our couch and as soon as they touch it, they stop. I also was concerned about them going on our railing by our steps and then falling off. They don't even go near the railing anymore. It is really sticky but I removed some of it from the railing and it came up easily. This tape has been a lifesaver, literally!

This tape works well on furniture. But it does not work on carpeting/rugs. It’s sticks just fine to the rug, but I don’t want to walk on sticky tape. If you had a version of this tape that was only sticky on one side, I could put it on my rugs where the cat likes to scratch and pull out the loops and still be able to walk on it. I am now able to walk on it only because I did not pull off the white covering from the top side. It looks ridiculous. So please get to work on a one sided tape that you can use on rugs and carpets. Ps. Packing/shipping tape is not an option because it is too sticky and it damages the rug when you try to remove it. Sigh….

2 dogs and 2 cats is the real gang and I must say I am the big fan of Petfect protectors. I use them mostly on door and carpet. Unlike other products, which are hard plastics, cat scratch tape is rather thin and flexible. However in this case it is not so important, because it’s main task is to discourage pets from scratching at all. And it works! The tape has glue from both sides, so when one of my pets wants to scratch it with its paw it sticks to the tape. And they really hate it. I put scratch tape on my sofas and chairs and now they protected. It works best on rough surfaces and corners. I recommend it

seems to be working great on my new couch and loveseat and the cats are afraid of it. If you didnt know it was there you would not notice it.

My cat scratches the area rugs so we tried this. We tried a small sample on the carpet but had trouble getting it off. Left sticky residual after removal in addition to pulling threads from the carpet. Protecto’s customer service was not helpful.

Bought this because my needy orange cat claws at the carpet if I go into a room without her and it’s destroying the carpet at every doorframe in the house. I stuck a strip of this down over the carpet at my bedroom door, moved over to put it in front of my office door, only to hear the gray cat behind me curious about the tape and immediately attacking it and trying to claw it up. So. That was a bust. Though I haven’t seen the orange cat clawing at the carpet there anymore, now it’s just the gray one going for the tape. Sticks real well though.

Efficace même si visuellement c'est peu esthétique. Depuis que j'ai posé ce collant sur les coins des fauteuils en cuir et les montants des chaises, le griffage s'est arrêté.

It works as intended!

I find this is way too sticky. It damages any fabric it comes into contact with if not removed extremely carefully. I think the stickiness factor needs to be wound back a bit before I could recommend this tape.

Tape comes off a lot if you brush by it, it was hard to put on the couch and bed to peel it. I have used this type of tape before and this one is a lot worse. It gets scrunched up, and doesn't stick well.

Ho comprato il nastro per impedire alla mia gatta di graffiare il divano in tessuto ma ho subito notato che l’adesivo è troppo forte, quando ho tentato la rimozione ha tirato dei fili rovinando la trama. Testate la compatibilità sul tessuto in una parte nascosta. È inoltre biadesivo quindi anche la polvere e i peli andranno subito ad attaccarsi creando un effetto antiestetico.
