Excellent Quality and Reliable Performance
These reeds deliver a rich, warm tone with excellent consistency. They are well-made, easy to play, and provide great response across all registers. A reliable choice for both practice and performance. Highly recommended for musicians looking for quality and durability.

Very consistent product
I normally use Java red box reeds, but wanted to try the Traditionals. Like the Java, these reeds are very consistent in strength and position of the "heart".

Vandoren Soprano Sax traditional reeds
These are excellent reeds. They do run harder than other reeds, so you'll have to adjust accordingly. They have a very nice tone, and can be used for different styles of music. I recommend these reeds highly!

The sound is consistently good
Great reeds kind of harder but the sound is good. I play a 2.5 on Rico concert select. Will try a 1.5 on these

I am very disappointed, because I bought a soprano sax reed but ...
I am very disappointed, because I bought a soprano sax reed but instead I received a sax sopranino reed. The outer plastic of the box says soprano sax reed but the box itself says sopranino and the truth is that that are totally different! I can't seem to place it properly into the mouth piece of my soprano sax because of the dimensions, they are so different... so it was a waste of money from my part. And well I can't seem to return it because I live outside of the US...So as a suggestion, any time you buy stuff like this don't be surprised to receive another type of reed!
