3 Year Update
I purchased this phone in 2020 and it's still performing well. It's been a little over 3 years and I'm surprised the battery hasn't noticeably degraded. The model is getting old, but still has decent specs when compared to some new retail phones in a similar price range. The battery life is partly due to using only quality charging devices and cords. My usage is moderate to high. Screen, camera, print reader are all still looking nice and functioning well. 5 stars for the value.

Very good phone...
I have Straight Talk and this phone works perfectly. The setup was easy and painless. Since Straight talk can use any carrier I purchased a universal SIM kit for $5, popped it with an SD card and in 5 minutes everything was ready after restart. I was on the Verizon network with Straight talk, with the new SIM its on T-Mobile and works well. Battery life is solid, not too much LG bloatwear and its fast, smooth with good overall feel. The phone that I got looks brand new, not a scratch or blemish on it. It runs better than my friends Iphone 11, faster and much, much cheaper.

Phone and 2nd seller (bayshine Trading) get 5+ stars. 0 stars for Deals Always.
I feel that people tend to look at negative reviews more often than they do at positive ones, hence my 1-star rating. However, the phone itself is amazing and I dare you to find a better one in this price range. First of all, I'd like to give props to the seller that goes by the name of "bayshine Trading". After the first snafu when I was sent the wrong version of the phone by another seller (more on that later), I contacted "bayshine Trading" to make sure I'll be getting the right one second time around. Not even 10 minutes later I received a reply confirming that the phone is indeed T-Mobile version; I clicked Buy; and 2 days later had it in my possession (I received it much sooner than expected even though it wasn't a Prime purchase). So as I said earlier, the phone is great. The screen is beautiful, and the camera is amazing. It's very responsive, and one of the selling points for me was the 3.5mm headphone jack and radio! Now that I got all of that out of the way, my first experience wasn't as good/smooth. Even though the description clearly says "T-Mobile", I was sent an AT&T model instead (by "Deals Always"). At first I thought to myself that it's not a big deal since the phone is unlocked and will work with any GSM carrier. Well, there are a couple of problems with that. First of all, the Wi-Fi Calling feature will not work. It's disabled, and there's nothing you can do to enable it. Secondly, as another reviewer also mentioned one of the extended LTE bands that is covered by T-Mobile is not supported by AT&T. Both shortcomings were not very important to me though. In 20+ years, I probably used Wi-Fi calling only once. And in the area where I live, we have a very good coverage so a missing band wouldn't be a problem for me. However, the biggest drawback of having an AT&T model on T-Mobile network is that you will NOT get any Android updates including security patches. So I contacted "Deals Always" to see how we can resolve this, and got no response after leaving them two voicemails, as well as sending them a very detailed email. Nothing, nada, crickets... so there you have it. In summary, fantastic phone but make sure you contact the seller ahead of making the purchase. Avoid "Deals Always" at all costs but I'll be definitely recommending "bayshine Trading" to others.

So far a decent replacement for my LG V30.
The phone is very similar in functionality to my LG V30. I don't like the power button on the side. It makes watching movies and TV a bit challenging, especially when trying to adjust the volume. On the V30, the fingerprint sensor doubled as the power button. The MAJOR flaw that I have found with the phone is the material (glass) used for the back cover. I do not use a protective case. If the surface you set the phone on is slick, the phone will generally slide around. The glass makes the phone look sexy, but can result in the phone sliding off a table if not careful.

Great Value for 2021 Compared to Mid-range Phones Currently Available.
First off, register your phone at LGpromise.com for the 2 year warranty. It is accepted when purchased from here. Just send a copy of your invoice when you sign in on your browser and save as a PDF. I sent a screenshot from the app and that wasn't sufficient. Do so before April 2021. Great price on a flagship phone from 2019. I needed an upgrade and didn't like anything available with my carrier. The phone was activated on Metro by T-Mobile. The WiFi Calling and VoLTE features work. Arrived in near mint condition. There were fairly visible scratches on the side of the screen. Added a screen protector and they're no longer visible. The back Glass looks flawless. I'm contemplating adding a ceramic coating to prevent new scratches. The 3500maH battery is ok. It's definitely a lot better than any phone with a lower capacity. I was able to get 7-8 hrs of screen on time and 27hrs of use in total. From what I've read this is normal and considered good. For me it's ok, but I'm used to having my Moto G7 Power with a 5000maH battery. That can last 3 days, but that's due to less RAM and a 720p IPS display. Overall there are so many features to list. Many great reviews on YouTube. Pros: 6.1" QUAD OLED 1440p display QUAD DAC 3.5mm Headphone Jack 6GB of RAM 128GB (105 available) of storage plus 2TB expandable storage support. Android 10 Rear Fingerprint Sensor Fast Face Unlock Camera features 21W QC 3.0/4.0 PD support Wireless Charging Support Gorilla Glass 5/6 Cons: 3500maH Battery Charging this phone is really good and supports 21w charging and wireless charging at 10w. So you have options to keep it powered on.

Great value, but I would return if it was new and not recertified.
Originally sent the wrong phone, but situation was resolved at no cost to me. The Alexa Mic/button keeps activating randomly(even with screen off and I have never once intentionally used the Alexa command.

Wish LG still made phones
This was my phone 2 phones ago, so my review is a bit late. Lasted over 2 years before it started to get laggy, rebooting randomly was somewhat more frequent, and battery life plummeted. Love this phone, and the one I upgraded from the g7. Awesome battery life! Dropped it many times, in the case, and the screen never cracked, same for the g7. Did find out when my then new phone arrived, and while taking the sim card out, the back was completely shattered! Never seen anything like it. The case and screen were perfectly fine.

Best phone I've ever owned!
I LOVE THIS PHONE SO DANG MUCH!!!! I'm on it more often than I used to be on my iPhone because it just functions so flipping well -- love dat processor. Screen is perfect size and quality and I have tiny hands and high standards. Definitely a difference when viewing old iPhone photos on it, theyre not as "pretty" as they were on the iPhone but thats honestly to be expected. Androids are just waaay better phones, for the money, the features, and the quality. This one in particular. I had a thinQ a long time ago and was dead set on getting another one. Super duper glad I did!!

Seems like a pretty good phone
This is a decent second phone for anybody needing a second phone, or anybody needing a cheaper cell phone........... it says it is a Verizon cell phone, but my lucky mobile SIM card Works in it............ So that's not a big game changer for me.
