How long will it stay inflated on a set of brand new batteries?

This depends on the capacity of the battery, we can generally continue to inflate for about 1-2 hours, you can also choose to use the mobile power link fan, which can last longer.

Can i use a phone charger battery to power the fan?

I get where your coming from, the batteries that are used are 4 x 1.5v AA. Your phone has a D battery. Be careful, just because your charger states 6 v, it might be two powerful and blow your dinosaur up. I think this is how they became extinct in the first place. The AA batteries do last along time, I have two dinosaur's both 14 months old, still original batteries and used quite a lot, if you want to save money get a four battery recharger unit. They are good fun, hope this helps, keep safe

How do you drink/eat with the trex suit? Or does it have to come undone everytime?

You cannot drink/eat in the trex costume as it is fully enclosed and your hands are on the outside of the costume.

Do you get very hot in this? Can you only wear it for short times?

Yes it can get very hot! I had it on for over an hour, the condensation inside becomes rain and the see thru panel becomes non see thru so make sure you have someone with you to guide you. Having said that, it is so worth it for the fun experience not only for myself but all the random people I entertained on xmas day.
