I used the connector for connecting my Galaxy s9 to my monitor . It's an excellent tool if you wish to project your phone's screen onto a bigger monitor ! Would definitely recommend the product due to its easy use , decent price and sturdy build

My new work laptop has a USB-C connection for external monitors. My monitors, not surprisingly, aren't USB-C. This little connector allows me to connect to my VGA monitor (it also has an HDMI connection, but my use will be on VGA). I can connected my HDMI monitor to the laptop's onboard HDMI output, so I can now hookup my 2 monitors at home, just as I can at work. The connector is also small and easy to take with me if I need it for travel. I couldn't get it to work with my USB-C phone output, but that could be an issue with my phone settings, and I don't really need it for that.

Junk. It quit working the very same day I received it and hooked it up. It worked perfectly for a few hours then nothing. Returning!

Very useful since it has both VGA and HDMI. The design is on point and sturdy. Slightly scratch-resistant too. Would definitely recommend for a good product at a competitive price.

I purchased this to replace a previous one (different manufacturer) that stopped working. It gets used quite a bit and I haven't had any trouble to date.

I have been wanting to get one of these for a while, but did not want to Shell out the money for the Samsung model. This one works perfectly! The nice added bonus of this is that it has an HDMI and a VGA. I will tell you this, plug the HDMI into the adapter first, then plug it into your phone. Don't plug it into your phone first then plug in the HDMI, because it acts flakey. The other thing is, make sure you choose screen mirroring. Now, I accidentally found out about this, and I'm extremely excited about the other feature. It actually turns your TV into a computer monitor! So, with a little finagling, I hooked up a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard to my phone and now I have a computer in front of me instead of a cell phone. If you are not sure how to do this, simply YouTube it. So, bottom line, this is an awesome purchase! Much better than screen mirroring, because you do not need a Wi-Fi network. Very happy that I got this one!
