Bought this motherboard as a replacement for a old asus a320m-k and I am impressed at the quality and looks for the price. It's definitely worth it. The VRM have large heatsinks and has every essential placed sensibly. Can't say much about it but everything is as expected or better.

Using Amazon Chat Support. The packaging was excellent, delivery guy opened and checked the package before handing over. He maintained distance. The Motherboard was as promised, beautiful and the RGB looks superb. I was worried as this is my assembled Desktop after 12 years, last one was AMD phenom, and could not understand why the display didn't show bios boot up. I did notice the keyboard and mouse light up so there was nothing wrong with the motherboards. Turns out for My model of processor you need a graphics card for display, and voila.. once the graphics card was installed i saw the beautiful ASROCK logo boot up on the screen. Windows installation took ten minutes. I was playing games in an hour. Note : Make sure to get a good UPS for the CPU.

Product received on time. I'm no "The greatest technician that's ever lived" but the Installation was easy. Board quality is also good. mATX with 4 RAM slots for Dual Channel. Setting up boot device was a hassle as you have to manually set which drive has to be used to boot windows from. And if you ever get BSOD, you'll have to repeat it again. Most important thing: The M.2_2 slot (located at the bottom) is SATA M.2 SSD slot. If you have PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD, it'll not work. It won't show up in BIOS as well as in Disk Management. You'll need to purchase SATA M.2 (the one with M+B key) for that. Or you'll need the PCIe NVMe Adaptor to use PCIe x16 or x4 slot. If you are going to use M.2_2 slot, do not connect any HDD or SSD into SATA3_3. Currently giving 4 star for it. It deserves 3.5 at least. Not giving 5 because things were not mentioned clearly about the bottom M.2 Slot. Took two days to figure that out. I had to buy a separate SATA M.2 SSD and a PCIe x16 to M.2 Adaptor later.

I’ve been using this ASRock B450M motherboard for around 3 months, and my experience has been very positive so far. The board has been stable and reliable for daily use. I’m currently running two different RAM sticks, one 8GB and another 16GB from different brands and the motherboard handled this without any issues. After enabling XMP, both RAMs are running smoothly at 3000 MHz, which shows good memory compatibility and BIOS stability.

It is an amazing motherboard. Based on the previous reviews I was scared if it would support 3000 series ryzen processor out of the box or not. But all worked fine. May be that was for older models. But current motherboard support the 3000 series. RGB can be controlled using the asrock software.

For 10 days the motherboard worked great but not anymore today i bought another motherboard from my local shop and everything is working again.It stopped working after the return window was expired now i am stuck here with a broken motherboard now the seller is not replying to my mails and amazon is saying they can't help me in this matter I have learnt my lesson never buy electronics from online stores instead buy it from the local store. Only 12 days replacement policy on electronic product really what am i buying a clothing product there should be at least 30 days replacement policy on electronic products did not expect this from amazon.

1. Beauty of rgb is of next level. 2. Comes with updated Bios, means Ryzen 5000 series is directly supported. 3. Beast Performance. 4. No overheating. Overall it does its work well in this price segment.

Asrock provides the best value for money motherboard. I have used their B350 boards earlier and now B450. I used a 3rd gen Ryzen with it earlier which was supported out of the box when I bought it. Then upgraded to Ryzen 7 5800X in December 2020 and Asrock was one of the first boards partners to support Ryzen 5000 series in December 2020 1-2 months before other vender. With one simple 5 min BIOS update it was stable with Ryzen 5800x but you need to have Ryzen 3000 CPU for BIOS update process. Feature wise it has a good UEFI with good over clocking feature for RAM and CPU and decent RGB connectors if you are into that.

Great high quality motherboard at reasonable price. Working great with AMD Athlon 3000G, 16GB RAM and 128GB NVMe SSD. My non-gaming PC is fast and stable. I am using the AMD integrated graphics without an additional graphics card. Since the PC is not used for gaming, the integrated graphics are more than sufficient for a general purpose PC. AMD Athlon 3000G is rated at 35 Watt TDP and without discrete graphics card the PC consumes very little electrical power and works well with 500 Watt ATX power supply. The operating system is Debian Linux, light and fast.

I bought this motherboard and a r5 5600x as a replacement for a i7 from 2015 and a mini atx mb. I was a bit worried the mb would not be updated to 3.6 (required for 5000 series) out of the box and that i had to update it with an older gen cpu. This was not the case at all, was 3.6 out of the box. Im glad i bought this mb, it looks good and has great performance.

The main feature of this board would be how the aesthetics differ from other competition. With the steel like aesthetics, any setup with this motherboard will pop! Great overclocking ease and capability, design is flawless and the board has enough head space for adding more RAM. Although, as an RGB capable motherboard and being branded as a "Gaming" motherboard, It's controversial that ASROCK would proudly highlight their RGB features. The RGB that came with my board has colour inaccuracy. Looking closer at the heatsink of the motherboard chipset, the colour seems to be off so this meaning that the IO RGB does not match. In addition to this, trying to get the RGB to work properly was a hassle. To get an RGB effect I had to go to the Bios as the RGB software wasn't working properly! After flashing the software a couple of times and updating my BIOS, it was finally working alongside the software ASROCK provided. Apart from that, the motherboard is great and I would recommend it but do be wary of the RGB if that's what you're looking for!!!

Below are the attached components: Memory: 4 x 8GB Corsair LPX 3000MHz C16 XMP RAM (CMK16GX4M2D3000C16) (2667 is the fastest speed I can achieve in this configuration) CPU: Ryzen 2600 (Also tested and working great with 3600) Cooler: ARCTIC Freezer 34 eSports DUO PSU: Corsair SF450 Storage Card: LSI SAS HBA Fujitsu d2607 PCIe NICS: Intel Pro / 1000PT Quad Port PCIe Good Points: *Lots of PWM fan headers - which all have either DC or PWM control. *Extensive fan control options in the UEFI. *2, 16x (Physical, not electrically - also see disappointing points section) PCIe slots and 1x slot. *Support for M.2 MSATA and NVME drives. *Supports IOMMU virtualisation passthrough of the electrical x16 PCIe slot. *Boots fine without a GPU attached. *Controllable RGB board lighting - it can even be turned off. *RAM compatibility with ZEN+ is improved. *Subjectively, I like the IO shield and board appearance. *The UEFI comes ready for Zen2 but also works fine out of the box for Zen+. Disappointing Points: * 1 of the x16 PCIe slots (The lower slot, without a metal shroud) and the x1 slot are routed through the motherboard chipset and not the CPU. For most people this won't matter but if you use this board for virtualisation (Such as Proxmox), you will not be able to passthrough a device in the second x16 slot and the x1 slot to a virtual machine. It's a shame but given the low price, it seems unfair to criticise this motherboard, since I doubt many people will run this board as a virtualisation server. The top x16 slot can be passed through and I use it to passthrough a SAS RAID card to my NAS virtual machine - no problems. *The audio codec isn't the best. Asrock provide superior audio codecs with some of their other boards - but it's not a dealbreaker, IMHO. Bad Points: *Given the low price, there's nothing that I can complain about. For a gaming or work computer, I doubt many people would have any issues and be unhappy. Likely a fringe group of users will have be disappointed with what I list in the 'Disappointing Points' section above - and I therefore don't feel that this warrants less than 5 stars.
