ReliOn Prime Blood Glucose Monitoring System

So I had to get a new one and didn't want one that talks to my phone. The new one reads higher than my old one. The book says calibration fluid. The pharmacy says I probably don't need it. Anyway it does read about 8 points higher than my old one but I have changed my diet and exercise/lifestyle so my A1c has dropped to high normal. I just need to keep up the good work.

My third one of these. My last two lasted over three years with no problems at all. Best buy for a glucometer on the market.

This meter takes a lot of blood to make it work more than I can get with the lancette. When I was able to get the blood and make it work it was 200 points higher than the doctors done at the same time, which would mean that I would have given insulin when it was not needed. And to add insult to injury they won’t take it back. Save your money and buy a product that works. From a company that will stand behind the product.

Very cost effective glucose monitor. Replacement strips are super affordable compared to other machines at Wal Mart. Highly recommended if insurance doesn’t cover your glucose testing supplies!

You can get the same one at Wal-Mart for $9. Works fine though.

Would’ve been nice to tell us newbies that testing strips are sold separately. I went back and read product description and I see that no where.
