Q: Does anyone know what the exfoliant is in the renewal cleanser? I am hoping to avoid microbeads and harsh ingredients like apricot pits.

Corn starch. It is extremely mild. I use it with a face scrubber to get the job done.

Q: The nourishing cleanser with royal jelly seems to be discontinued. I’ve been using it for years. How does this compare?

Sorry I never used that but the new moisture cream is very good

Q: Would the cleanser help with red blotchy skin?

It was helpful for me when my skin was adjusting to a prescription skin cream for my face. It didn’t sting or burn and no noticeable scent. But it isn’t an active, I would suggest a light glycolic acid cleanser or toner. That’s the only thing that cleared up my skin issues and my rough patches. There are tons out there made for sensitive skin.
