Great product at a decent price
Fan was exactly what i needed. Very easy to install. Thermostat works well. Unit lowers the temp. in my garage quite a bit. It is no louder than a window fan , even when on high speed. speed is adjustable if you want it to run slower. All i had to do was cut a hole in the wall, and wire an outlet close to it, so i could plug it in. Did those two things, installed, and turned on. Works great. good quality, built well.

Nice exhaust fan
In the winter, when snow melts off my car, I get lots of condensation in my heated garage, causing mold to form on windows, etc. in the garage. I had this fan installed and now I can easily control the problem. I plugged it into a wifi outlet and I use that to turn it on & off. When there is condensation, I turn the fan on via the wifi & I can set it to run 3-4 hours (or whatever I choose) - this way it doesn't run unnecessarily long if I forget to turn it off. As an added bonus, I had new wood flooring installed - the kind they have to stain & apply urethane. The installer wanted to put a box fan in a window to exhaust air & fumes caused by the chemicals. I suggested we open the door going to the garage & turn on the exhaust fan. It worked great. You can adjust the speed of the fan to get appropriate air flow and this fan can move more air than a typical box fan. We actually didn't have to run it very fast. The installer was impressed.

Great ventilation fan but motor heats up a lot
Installed this in the garage for ventilation, the fans works great and definitely noitce the temperature difference. The only concern was the motor runs really hot even on low rpm, not sure if it will last long during summer but very nice fan. The shutter can be remove very easily to fit existing holes on the wall. Temp control was nice to have didn't have issues with it.

Solid fan
I don't usually leave reviews but this fan is solid and I was struggling for a while trying to decide what to get Bought two separately, both arrived undamaged and well packed. Both work incredibly well, powerful; good looks and weight. Foam added in key spots looks like it helps mitigate sound/help with insolation Made makeshift window insert out of 2x2's and put it next to the stove. Works much better then those dinky plastic window inserts you can find elsewhere NOTE: - Blue protective plastic on shutters has a noticeable impact so take the time to remove it completely - Fans can only exhaust air properly if there is an intake for air elsewhere. I'm not the smartest knife in the drawer, but the people whining about in other reviews clearly struggle to understand that - Shutters don't seem to open all the way but I don't see why they'd need to - Speed control LED super bright lmao

20 degree drop, Excellent value!
I installed this fan in my 800sq foot shop and it has significantly improved the working conditions. Aside from venting dust, it has improved the temperature in my shop by about 20 degrees on the hottest days. My shop no shade, is a dark color and has high ceilings. I installed this on the back wall gable about two feet below the peak of the roof. Normally, at 5’ off the ground and at the front of my shop, I would run about 25 degree F hotter than outside temp- so here in Oregon, when temps hit the 80’s, the shop was just an oven. To date, including a day in the mid 90’s, I’m averaging 3 degrees above ambient outdoor temp, with 8 degrees above being the biggest jump. Installation is easy if you follow the directions (I managed to cut a couple inches too wide but was my fault and easy to fix). Match the model number to the opening size and you’re set. The fan is quieter than expected as well! It does pull a lot of air so either have an intake vent or do what I do- install a car door on the garage door and the fan will just pull air through that! There was no included thermostat so I purchased one at the local big box and added it, setting it very low (70 degree shut off). Otherwise, you could hardwire it on, to its own switch, on a timer, or to another switched circuit. The BIGGEST concern about this fan is there is no thermal fuse. So if there is a fire, this fan will run until it loses power or melts, which will dramatically accelerate the growth of the fire- as a firefighter, I’ve seen small fires consume entire houses because fans didn’t shut off. I would not use this in a residential structure without I installing a thermal fuse. This can be fixed by buying a thermostat with a fuse in it! Overall, a great value and I’m purchasing a second one for my house (and a thermally fused thermostat as well?

Works as it should.
I added this fan in the gable of my house to help pull out the hot air so the A/C doesn’t run as much. The fan looks great. It’s easy to use and it does the job on getting the hot air out of the attic.

Works great!
Oh my gosh this is exactly what I needed! I have a 10’x12’ shed type greenhouse. I’m a 5’-2” wife and was able to install it by myself. The thermostat feature is amazing. I highly recommend this! It’s a little louder than expected but it’s powerful so it’s doing its job!

It's an easy install and works right out of the box. Just plug and play. It moves a good bit of air and is actually quite quiet. I can't hear it in the basement with the garage door closed and it doesn't vibrate at all unlike my fan hood in the kitchen. Haven't used the temp switch as I plugged it into a remote switch before going into the outlet and will just turn it on when I'm sawing or painting to remove dust and fumes. Great addition to the clean air aspect of the work space. Longevity remains to be seen but will update. So far a ten for the price and convenience. Recommended.

I installed this fan in my garage to vent the heat out in the evenings. Oh boy, did it make a difference! My wife and I were shocked at how well this unit performs - it's strong enough to create a vacuum against the door to the house so that when we enter the garage it pulls the door shut behind us. It's reduce the temperature in the garage by 8-10 degrees Celsius in the evenings (on a hot day would get to 28C and now we can get it under 20C by midnight. The house subsequently is cooler, specifically the bedroom above the garage. It was a big difficult to find a vent cover that I could use on the outside of the house, as I didn't want to leave it open. I found a 14x14 metal cover at Rona for about $35 which has done the trick. The wiring was pretty straightforward (green under green screw, black to black, white to white) but the instructions are terrible. Take a few pictures of your wiring and have an electrician friend confirm your wiring if you're not certain about it. We also purchased the wireless controller system. It works really well and is pretty easy to figure out (again, the instructions suck but it's pretty straightforward). Would highly recommend this add-on. One other thing - the baffles on the back side of the unit are awesome. The overall unit is much more commercial grade/industrial than I was expecting - I was expecting something a little stronger than a 150 CFM bathroom fan but this thing can crush a lot of airflow and is not even in the same league as a bathroom fan. We didn't realize how much of a difference this fan has made, and have recommended it to many family and friends. If you have a garage or crawl space it's worth the investment, you'd be surprised!

Easy to install. Fits inside 16 inch studs in the wall. Simple to connect to power. The instruction diagram makes it very straight forward. Works great. Moves a lot of air and is not too noisy. The main noise is the rush of air coming through the fan. Very satisfied with this product.
