Compact box full of high quality, crunchy organic little nuggets of sprouted grains
This is organic high quality long shelf life crunchy cereal in no waste box. Compared with other cereals that waste space in your cabinet trying to create illusion of more this one packs in a compact box rich sprouted grains. It tastes fresh is organic, vegan, has no added oils. This is heart healthy food IMHO. It was 90 degrees with high humidity when the boxes were left on my porch and I did not notice for several hours. The cereal was a little warm when I noticed it on my porch but it withstood that heat. Had some with a little ground cinnamon, soy milk and bananas for dinner. It stayed crunchy a long time. On the box it says you can heat it up if you want hot cereal. It has a small amount of sodium in it. The box says they have a type with no sodium if you want no sodium look for that one. Excellent, well worth the price. It is a little out of my price range but I am willing to splurge for good nutrition. The freshness date was reasonable, six months out from arrival date. It has 8 grams of protein in half a cup by itself. If you hover over the images displayed you can get more details on the ingredients and so on.

Better Cereal from Bible Recipe
Wonderful cereal! Keep in mind a serving is 1/2 cup-it is very small flakes, some raisins. If you heat milk & add cereal to soften, it makes a delicious & satisfying meal. Lots of fiber so donโt forget to drink water also!

Delicious, nutritious, looks better when you transfer it to a plain container.
This cereal has become our go to snack since I purchased it. It is indeed a very crunchy, dense cereal. My husband who has had grapenuts before said it's not as hard as that stuff was, so easier on the teeth. We like a bit of crispy crunch so we are very much enjoying this. Our favorite way so far is to slice up fruit, dollop on some yogurt, sprinkle some of this cereal. Add a few nuts, drizzle of maple and you have yourself a treat so good your brain will call it dessert! If it being too crunchy is a concern for you be aware it starts softening as soon as it touches liquid or yogurt or wet fruit. Becomes a pleasant hearty oatmeal type texture. It's the priciest cereal we've ever purchased but that simple ingredients list and purity as well as the sprouted grains origins make it a wonderful addition to our convenience foods snack choices. The whole bible thing on the label I admit to ignoring. Extra easy to do by transferring the contents right to an air tight container. ;) I don't feel it adds anything to the experience to have it plastered all over the box. We eat pretty cleanly here...very little sugar so I didn't find the cereal bland or too unsweet as some reviewers said. There is a transition period your tastebuds and body will go through as you eat less crap and more real, whole ingredients foods. Give it a chance, you don't have to eat this cereal plain, you can transition by adding some to a cereal you are more used to. Don't think of your old eating habits as meaning you get less......... good for you foods added to your diet mean you get more, so add MORE goodness to everything you eat by sprinkling this through out :) Dear self: Soap box much? Err......hahahahaha Bottom line, if you prefer more sweet cereal than add more sweet! Revel in the choices. I have a nice little collection mason jars with all sorts of goodies for when we eat this cereal. Becomes like a personal cereal buffet. Raisins, craisins, nuts, cinnamon, honey, maple etc. :) It's tasty. It's a great shelf stable and nutritious snack. I'll be keeping us stocked in it.

Healthy, delicious, and at a decent price.
I love "Food for Life Ezekiel" products. Originally, I was introduced to the bread when on a special diet -- an offshoot program of "Over-eaters Anonymous", the H.O.W. program -- many years ago. The bread contains NO flour, no sugar, is high in protein and fiber, and, for my taste, is delicious. Actually, I learned that OVER-eating was not really my problem. My problem was NOT eating the healthiest, life-giving, minimally processed foods available. Over time, I learned, relapsed, and relearned, etc. I was thrilled when I learned "Food for Life" added cereals to their product line. In looking at labels at my local health food store, I discovered that this brand was the ONLY cold cereal on the shelves that had NO sugar content! Since then, this is the ONLY cold cereal I buy. It can be served warm, as well. Generally, though, I prefer "John McCann's Steel-Cut Irish Oatmeal" (also zero sugar and high fiber) for hot cereal. Needless to say, the cereal is expensive (but cheap if you consider that you're no longer polluting your body with all the sugar, air, preservatives, and other junk in most commercial cereals), so I was thrilled to find that Amazon.com offered it in a 6-box bundle for a far better price than my local market. I usually have a bowl a day with fresh berries (strawberries are very sweet this year in my area) and slivered almonds topped with light soy milk. I find that when I'm eating really nutritious food, I eat slowly and savor. When I'm eating junk, I tend to "wolf" it down. It doesn't matter why. I just hate that sensation, so I avoid it and my body thanks me every day.

Product is often rancid
Great product and cereal...but Amazon is using very outdated inventory to fulfill orders (note the other critical reviews about the late expiration dates). In my case I could taste and smell the rancid flavor when I opened the sack. I thought this was a fluke and ordered another box from Amazon but that was also rancid. But the SAME cereal from the grocery stories it is completely fresh. The problem is Amazon fulfillment...they are likely storing the product in hot temperatures and/or keeping outdated product in inventory. This is very frustrating as it's an otherwise great cereal.

Love Ezekiel, hard raisins
I love this brand and flavor but the raisins are always super hard compared to when I buy it from the market.

This was the 4th or 5th order from this seller. No complaints. Very accommodating. This the best deal I have found so far for Ezekiel cereal and it lasts me a long while.

As expected.

Pack of 1 received not pack of 6 which makes it my most expensive breakfast cereal to date. Fine granola, pretty much bland with a slight taste of cardboard. It was worth trying but I won't be buying again
