Sweet - Moles hate this...
Mole killer deluxe... satisfying to watch the tunneling stop... The extensions lock is less than solid and will collapse when stuck into a mole tunnel. Not sure if it will fail when shark gaffing - hunter beware!!

Good product
Strong and sturdy when all the way out.

It has arrived!!!
It lives up to it's name! It is useful to the carp and large frogs here. The carp especially have some fight, and the barbs on the spearpoints are effective in keeping them on the spear to be retrieved. Great value and, so far, very durable. The length is appropriate for reaching out 10+ feet. Great for use in a narrow channel or small creek.

Useless product.
Absolute junk product. Broke first time it was used. Just bent easily when it was extended then couldn't collapse after that. If you are going to hang it on the wall it would probably be fine if you're careful with it. Useless for fishing.

Awesome reach
Took this out twice and speared 7 fish. It didnโt take long, either. Part of that was post-spawn fish that werenโt as energetic as usual, but equally important was the reach of this bad boy. Incredible! Others said theirs collapsed, but I havenโt had that happen yet. Maybe itโs because Iโm spearing 3-6 lb freshwater fish and not trying to drive them into the center of the earth. I will say that the thinnest section, close to the head, is a little flimsy. Also, the little rivet holding the female threaded section (where the spear head screws in) is wobbly after one use. Thatโll end up having to be replaced Iโm sure. Also, Iโm thinking some thread lock is a good idea for the spear head. I already had a fish or two twist enough to back the threads out a bit. Made me leery.

Good for the price. Doesn't stay extended after spearing.
Doesn't stay extended. Every time I spear something I have to adjust the length of the pole. The pole has been durable and securely holds the spear. It just doesn't stay extended. I wish I had bought a longer pole for fishing from shore (I got the 6' version). I underestimated the length needed from the shore to the fish in the water. Keep that in mind when you decide which length to buy.

What's not to like?
Very sturdy for the length, no plastic to break, 8mm threads are perfect, many uses. Thank you!
