This thing is great. Works just like you'd want it to. A nice feature I find is that the keyboard acts as a nice counter-weight to the tablet. Making book reading feel a bit more authentic when held portrait style.

This cover works well. The only issue I have with it is that in order to type, one must move the keyboard out from where it is placed when the cover is completely closed. Since it is held in place by magnets and not clips, this move is simple to do. It takes a bit of getting used to the smaller keyboard, and some things (such as the apostrophe and quotation marks) require the use of the "Control" key to use, but once one has adjusted, there are no problems. ADDITION ON 25 Feb 2016 - About two months ago, the keyboard became a bit sketchy, and a few weeks later stopped working. The Bluetooth unit within the keyboard stopped communicating with my Galaxy Tab. The Tab could recognize the keyboard, but not connect. Fintie did give me a partial refund, but I still had to order a new keyboard and case to have a working keyboard again. It worked well for over a year and a half, however.

Not as durable as I imagined, and not as easy to use as it could be. Does not stand up by itself!!

I really didn't care for this product. The keyboard just didn't work out for me, not because it was damaged or failed to work, but because I didn't like how small the keyboard was. I thought I would be okay with it, but no. I was not impressed with the case portion either. It was very cheap looking and I didn't like how I had to position the ipad. This doesn't really work unless you're going to use the magnetic keyboard. I didn't think I would mind that it didn't have the swivel for switching from landscape to portrait. I finally just bought another case without a keyboard and has the swivel and works great. So that's why I gave it 3 stars. Some of it is because I, personally, did not like the design and I just did not like how cheap the plastic/ vinyl outer case. I got the red one and my son the blue one. The blue doesn't look like the picture. The red is pretty true to the color on the computer. I may have liked it better in a print/ or design. So, in closing, it didn't work for my needs but it might be okay for another.

excellent and just what we expected!

I've just received this case/keyboard today and after a brief trial I think I'll be very happy with it! I was able to pair the keyboard to the tablet pretty easily and it works smoothly after an initial adjustment period in terms of key placement. My only quibble is that the case magnet is not strong enough to stay closed if you keep the keyboard inside it unless you align it juuuuuuust so, which may cause problems if you intend to have the case in a bag or a purse or something. I can easily see the magnet detaching from the case if it's jostled around even just a little. If you use the case on its own, the magnet adheres quite well and the tablet will be secure. I may consider getting a little pouch for the keyboard and storing it separately if I plan to carry it around extensively.
