La Roche-Posay Pigmentclar Brightening Face Cleanser, Exfoliating Face Wash with LHAs, Dark Spot Remover and Skin Tone Brightening, Fragrance Free Foaming Cream Cleanser

I’ve been using this La Roche-Posay Pigmentclar Brightening Face Cleanser for years probably close to a decade. I started using this along with their other products in their brightening line to help with my severe hyperpigmentation (mostly due to sun damage). It is magically AMAZING how incredibly foamy this becomes once applied with warm water (or whatever choice temperature you choose). You ONLY need a pea sized amount of soap, even LESS to wash your face. Im 58, and have combination skin. This leaves my face squeaky clean and somewhat taut, but somehow does not dry out my skin. It just creates a beautiful base for my toners, serums and moisturizers. I could see how some might find this drying so unsure if how this would work for very dry or sensitive skin. When used with the brand’s Pigmentar Serum Visible Dark Spot Reducer I saw definite results in reduction of several dark spots on my face. However consistency is the key as well as patience. I saw results in approx 6-8 wow which is typically ideal for effective skin care. Erno Laslo iconic “black bar” soap, my 2nd favorite cleanser, is similar as to how this cleanser leaves my skin feeling. However, LaRoche-Posay will always be my first go to. It gives me the luxe high end results I receive from my Erno Laszlo soap at an amazing price, due to the fact the Pigmentclar cleanser always, ALWAYS lasts me a super long time. Highly recommend this cleanser as well as the brand.

Got this product about a month ago. I use it as a third step in my skin care routine after oil cleanser and water-based cleanser. I love how smooth the texture of this cleanser is. It has a very pleasant smell. It is super soft, doesn’t dry my skin, and does its job. It’s just a pleasure to apply it to my face. Easily wash off. I do get a little burning sensation when applying it - but that’s because my skin is super sensitive and I love to rub it with a silicone sponge. I think this product is worth the money and shows its full effectiveness. Definitely will be buying more.

I wish I had photos to show before and after, but my skin changes constantly - So I bought this product months ago, started using it, saw amazing improvement in my skin - texture and dark spots got a lot better. I used in combination with other la roche products as well so I can’t credit it all to just this. But! I ran out and just went on using a gentle cleanser I had. Well. Maybe 3 weeks later, my face is breaking out really bad, my pores are huge, my skin looks dull. So I reordered. Used it immediately and my face feels so much better already. Like the dead skin came off and it just FEELS better haha. A little goes a long way so you only need a pea sized amount, and the bottle will last you months! It’s worth every penny to me. Definitely a staple in my skincare routine now.

I love this product for my mature skin

I love this facial cleanser. It leaves my face soft throughout the day. It does not dry out my skin and it is a great makeup remover. I have noticed my skin getting brighter and any darker spots are slowly fading. One warning, and I hope you’ll heed my words: It takes just a very little bit of product to cleanse. Start with a wet face and hands, put about a “pea sized” bit of cleanser, it foams up slightly and rinses off easily. If you use too much your face will look as though you’re preparing yourself for a mime act. I’ve used so many kinds of face wash and in the last year and a half I’ve not found the need to change.
