Very nice lightweight jump rope that is easy to take along and use anywhere. If you want to start to jump rope as part of your cardio workout, then this is the one to get to try it out. Very light rope that you can go very fast with. A great value for under $15 for a very good jump rope. The motion is smooth and fast if you want to use for HIIT. Easy to adjust. All you have to do is loosen a small nut/screw, adjust the rope, then tighten the screw/nut again.

First, I want to mention that I didn't even know jump ropes were this advanced. I wasn't sure what to expect with the swiveling connection system, but this thing is fast and very smooth. It exceeded all my expectations.The handles are a comfortable plastic. All of the connectors are metal, and the locking screws are really well made. I did trim the "rope" down a little, but that was very easy. I cut the rope section with scissors and tightened the screw again, and everything was perfect for my height.The swiveling metal connectors are pretty awesome tbh. My last jump rope would rub on the edge of my thumbs when I jumped really fast, but this system keeps the rope away from your hands. It's very smooth and fluid, and it makes no noise. I also like that the rope section is light and doesn't slap me if I miss a jump. This is the way all jump ropes should be made!I'll be getting a lot of use out of this thing and it looks like it will last a very long time. Awesome product, especially for the price.

First of all I would consider myself an avid jump roper having jumped rope for conditioning for over 35 years and this continues to be my primary exercise for conditioning and overall fitness. During that time I have owned many jump ropes and have pretty much gone through the evolution of jump ropes so I fell like I have a good resource to draw on when evaluating this rope.My primary ropes are the Ballistyx 360 ropes and the crossrope get fit ropes. The Epitome Speed Rope is super fast and easy to adjust and like the name of the rope you can definitely get some speed with this rope. Another thing that I like is that this rope is super light and has become my defecto traveling rope. This rope hardly weighs anything and take very little space in a suitcase or carry-on.This rope has also found its way into my at home workout routine as I use it at the end of a work out to speed burn the last 15 minutes when my arms are spent!As for longevity, I have only had this rope for a month so it’s hard to attest to its longevity but there are very few moving parts to the rope so I can t imagine much going wrong with this rope.I would definitely recommend this rope to some who is just beginning and for those who are looking for a good travel rope.

this is the worst piece of fitness equipment I've ever bought. The hardware and cable is so terrible I almost can believe it. The steel cable has broken on me 3 times and now Its too short to jump after bringing my arms closer and closer. The first time a screw came loose and I had to climb around my back yard to find it. Ok so I cranked it way tighter and put thread locker on it. Ok so I stepped on it once or twice and then the steel cable broke. Had it happen again tonight and now it's in the garbage. Spend more money get something nice. Once again proving the mantra "buy nice or buy twice"

This is an affordable speed rope that is best suited for those who don't tend to land on the rope. It could be a great travel rope for someone who wants to leave their favorite, high-price rope at home. For a beginner, the Sonic Boom Speed Rope would be a better choice. That being said, here are the pros and cons of the Speed RopePros: Lightweight, affordable, high quality cableCons: unreliable lock nuts, handles too light, bearings aren't smooth, plastic moving partsI'm no expert jumper so I tend to step on the rope sometimes. Knowing this I tightened the locknut's with plyers and a screwdriver. Still, the first time I landed on the rope I sent the lock nut and end cap in to outer space..Conclusion: As I said, I'd see this as a great travel rope for someone already well skilled. As a beginner it can be a frustrating rope. Go with the Sonic Boom instead.

Very easy to adjust. You can adjust the length to your height by unscrewing the screw holding the handles in place and sliding them up and down to the length you need. It only takes seconds to adjust. Great for anyone who shares this others due to how easy it is to adjust. Save money only needing one rope. Feels good, easy to use, no drag, feels like you can go as fast as you want without any issue. Great for all fitness levels. Then handles are not as high quality as some of their other ropes, but in my opinion that has no affect on the performance of this rope. I received this product free for testing purposes.

The media could not be loaded.  This is my third purchase from epitome fitness and I really like the quality of this product. The ability to adjust length is a plus as I am taller than my wife and son who also use the jump rope. It is very easy to get into a consistent jump because it is so light weight. I started with timed one minute sets but I have increased to 2 minute sets. I get a good sweat going and loosen up. I have noticed increased strength in my calves since I got back into jumping rope. The price and quality is why I chose this. I also own epitome fitness pull up bands and ab wheel. Great items to use while gyms are not open.

I was loving it, training every day for 1 month lightly only 300 to 600 jumps a day, until the plastic covering pealed and the wire cable inside started to get spikes. Don’t use it outside or on rough pavements, it is not durable, although they have photos that show people jumping on concrete and other rough surfaces, the plastic covering wont handle it well.Also they claim that the handles are metal, i got plastic handles on mine. The price is very nice and it works.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a more expensive rope but I like this one much better at half the price! It is very light. I hang it vertically in my door post when not in use and have no problems with tangling. Cutting the cable was easy using wire cutters and there are simple screws that you only need your fingers to tighten the rope. I've used it daily for almost a month now and the cable has never slipped. I really love the simple plastic handles. They feel good in my hands and it spins so easily without any resistance. The rope is so light that it makes it super easy for a beginner (and older) jumper! I take a break whenever I can from my computer work and skip for 10 mins...great exercise while I play great music, gets my heart rate up...and also gives me a sense of joy and feeling of youth. If I go away, I will bring it with me and because it is light, it fits easily in the plastic carry pouch that it came with and will fit into my bag easily. Simplicity makes me happy!

The media could not be loaded.  Received the rope super quickly.Really like this rope, it is thin and extremely strong. I put it in my gym bag and usually they come out all twisted. This one got its shape back straight away. It’s great to use, managed to skip really fast and it didn’t slow me down. No damage on it after hitting the floor so many times, like some previous ones I’ve had. Only thing is if you miss a skip you end up whipping your legs, and as it is thin and strong, it’s a bit painful 😂 Overall great product

Overall, I'm very satisfied with this jump rope. It is very light weight which is a must for a speed jump rope. But it's not the best choice for beginners as it's very lightweight and provides little to no force feedback to the jumper which helps learning at first. But don't get me wrong, learning with this jump is far from impossible.The cable is made of a metal cable covered by a transparent plastic which seems durable enough as long as you don't jump on concrete. The bearings in the handle aren't the best; giving the handle a spin will only make it spin for half a second. I've had other jump ropes with bearings that let the handles spin for 30 seconds or more. So if you're serious about jumping rope, keep that in mind.The mechanism to shorten the rope is very simple and doesn't require you to cut the rope which I prefer over other mechanisms that require you to cut the rope.Overall, this is a very good and well made jump rope. Speed jumping with it is very easy.

Excellent cost effect speed rope. Easy to set up and customize to height of the user. Good weight and easy for double unders. Good buy.
